Shaw if you need any help with the fuel pump let me know.. and remember it's better to have less gas as possible lol. Remember how full mine was?? Don't feel bad about the launch even if I was to drag my car again I wouldn't even be close to what you did ahah. First AWD car ever.. used to the clutch dumping.

what kind of clutch do you have in the car now? have you launched your car before.

also your going to start PC things now? what have you done in the past and with what type of materials? I may be interested in gettin some things done as well as some of my buddies if the pricing is good and work is excellent. rather keep the business local if i can! support that philly economy...
I've been doing it professionally for 4 years (one of my duties at work) and on an amateur level for around 6-7. I'm thinking of doing it on the side a few weekends a month. I have a 3'X3'x5' oven and spray booth. We also have a sand booth but I HATE sandblasting. It's immensely time consuming. I've done everything from wheels and valve covers to engine blocks and a Harley frame a few years back (barely got that in but it fit). If it's metal it can be coated as a general rule. In all seriousness it shouldn't be as expensive as it can be. The powder is inexpensive. It's all down to application technique and having the right facilities.
I have a Spec stage 3 in here now. It held up with the stroker and SC61 really well so I'm hoping the 2.0 and an HX35 doesn't tax it.

The reason is cause an 18" tire with the same diameter as a 17" is going to have a shorter sidewall.

ever notice how drag tires have a tall side wall, thats cause that taller side wall absorbs some of the energy of the launch and will actually PUSH the car forward.

A smaller side wall isn't going to flex as much which will "shock" the tires and either cause them to hop, spin or if you do get traction it will probably bog on you unless you can keep the nose up.

guys in the know i have a question about intetcoolers.

whats the best one out there now? I haven't been keeping up with all the new EVO products and I know stuff changes pretty quick. I'm looking for the most efficent core possible that will still work with the stock crash beam AND undertray.

what are my choices: Buschur, FR, Perrin... anyone else (don't really want to use ECS)

The new ams intercooler was on display at e-town. It looks real nice and I would imagine it works well too. I dont think they released it yet. I think cbrd is making one now too

Marc, I've got the ETS on my car. I really like it, and it works really well. Petey is running the Perrin, and he like it alot. The AMS has gotten very good reviews and are used by Ben and Doug. I know Full Race, the coming CBRD, Buschur, and a few other uses a Garrett core, so they're all pretty much the same. It comes down end-tank design, weight, and fitment.

weight and how it fits are two important factors, so is how well it works. I'd like to find one iwth a garrett core cause from what I remember they seem to perform well.

Anyone who makes a race version seem to be really light, but they all dont recommend it for daily use since the material is much thinner. I really like the look and fitment of the AMS piece. I dont know where the ETS does a far as weight, but the fitment is top notch, and its pretty efficient. During the last few autox, I've been feeling the endtanks with my hands, and the temp difference on the tanks are very noticeable. The Perrin piece is huge, and has cast endtanks...Petey should chime in and give you his opinion.

Pete, the 30th is questionable for me at this point as I was informed of a family event last night. I will run depending on the heat schedule, but I checked last night and it seems BSP isn't running until 3rd heat. That's gonna be a huge problem for me unless it gets moved to 1st or even 2nd heat! Keep your fingers crossed!
