The next autox is 10/11 at Warminster. October actually looks pretty busy with three events I think.


On a side note, I think my back is broken from stripping so much wallpaper in the new house. I cranked out two rooms this weekend all by myself, wifey wasn't around to slow me down.

I have another wedding on the 10th, so I'm probably going to miss this one. The wedding is a big event so I know I'm getting hammered and won't be able to go attend.

How was EVO school? Worth the $275?

 

Pete, any updates on your car? I finally installed the IX turbo Friday night. Running a Petey Turbo base until I get to the horse. Car feels great...

short answer, YES it was worth it 100%.

I was telling my buddy that I feel like I gained a couple years seat time from just that one day. the 'tools' they teach will pay dividends down the road, that is for sure.

I can't wait for the next event to try and put them to use.

 

I think I'm going to be able to pick it up tomorrow. I'm not getting my hopes up too much, everytime I do something else goes wrong. We'll see what happens.

 

Can you post all the pics from the cruise in the Reading Cruise thread? That way they won't get lost in this monstrosity of a thread.

 

Did you get your Spoolin COP in yet? I think I'm going to order a set also. Did you get the used coil pack, or the new one?

 

No, I didn't get it yet. I spoke to Matt (the guy who makes them) yesterday and he said he's still waiting on a bunch of coils to come in from Japan. He's gonna let me know when there available. I think he has a new style coming out, thats what I'm waiting for. Also, I'm going to buck up and pay the extra 100 bucks for new coils, the used are tempting but I'd rather buy new.

He actaully just gave me a used oe coil for my car to hold me over, I just gave him $20 for shipping. Seems like a real nice guy.

Nice meeting you John and Josh (for like a minute).

I parked next to John's green EVO and the inevitable question came up, 'Is that an EVO?'. With some satisfaction but with maybe a little harsh tone and technical efficiency I said 'No, no it's a Ralliart'. I could have easily added to that 'Move along nothing to see here' cause that was the equivalent effect. Sorry for those at the meet.

 

I'm Josh, but I don't think we met. I stayed home to...sigh...spend time with the family. I did however explain to John the differences between the new ralliart and evo.

 

Car is back together... woohoo!

Still needs coolant and to be fired to make sure everything is all good. Hope to pick it up this evening. This day can't end soon enough!

Pocono was a blast. Rain came in around 1:30 and screwed TT's and relay race. They left at least one track open in the rain all afternoon.

Driving around in the rain is pretty crazy. Overall I had a blast, but it could have been alot better
