Its a 7 Nice car, def has an aftermarket intercooler on it if you didn't know. Any other info on the car you could share? Like i said let us know where about in philly you are. I got a lot of friends in the area and am there from time to time.
What thursday night meet do you attend?
I usually go to the Great American on Thurs, cause I'm right in Richboro. But we're probably gonna try the Sonic this week as some people have been attending there again and no one has gotten hassled that I know of. Yeah the car has alot of bolt on mods and was pretty fast before it "popped". The work was done back in 03-04 so some of the parts are a little dated by now. Definitely time to go over the car and do some updates. Hooray updates!

I definitely did that, there's marks to prove it. You're not driving fast enough if you dont hit cones right?

I got family in the richboro area, so as of now the car doesn't run? Have you run a compression test or anything on it to try and begin to figure out whats wrong with it? What else is done to it?

I've heard of the Great American meet but i don't think it's that good. There are a lot better options on a Thursday night. Def get on tristatetuners and check out what else is going on around the area. You got a really good meet every Thursday in lansdale which isn't far from you at all, and there is a meet down in philly about 20 min away.

so i am looking at ultimate racing's turboback setups. i just don't know what to run (i.e., short vs. long (w/ O2 housing) downpipe and test pipe vs. hi flow cat). any opinions/advice? also, what am I going to have to do to get it to pass inspection with any choice?

2nd of three, left that part out!
And yes, I coned. Thought only one on the last run but apparently 3 did the trick

Dan, my opinion would be for you to get the short downpipe and a separeate 02 housing over the long version. This would ease removal process later if you have to do anything down the line that require dropping the exhaust. Also, for the exhaust, I dont know if the single exit is louder than the dual exit, but I think you should get the version with the resonated piping. To go a step further, you may want to consider the resonated test pipe, depending on your preference for sound decibel in your hood. Also, the extra $20 for a wideband bung is totally worth it. GL bud!

You would be BSP. Its a class..........I have no clue what it stands for Oh and there is no ropes just cones and yes we can all show you the cones.

Dan that is alot of options. I would just get whatever Tim has cause it sounds mean. Do you want to pass emissions, do you want loud or quiet? I would get the wideband bung cause you will need it when you get tuned. Is you o2 sensor in your cat now?

The SP in BSP stands for Street Prepared. The B, although I dont know what it stands for, is categorized by the type of vehicle you drive. You will run Novice BSP, like me, since its your first time. The next event is the 30th, be there!

i have a lot of options. i just don't know what to do. those suggestions are good. so would a resonated test pipe make it louder (right?). i don't want to be really f'in loud but i want it to sound like an evo and not a honda accord....or continue to check the tach to see if it is running. so short DP and separate o2 and wideband is the way i may go. dual exit is a must for the X. it looks messed up with the single exit and the stock diffuser....plus it sounds cool too.
