Hey guys, where and when is the meet currently? I looked around the thread for a bit, then realized its almost 300 pages long. Little help here?!? I just picked up an 03 and figured a local meet would be a good place to meet other owners.

 

I never met chu but i think from seeing pics on here i know what he may look like. I literally pulled in the lot as he pulled out. I had my daily beater with me. It was a last minute decision to swing by. As i walked up to the truck to see the last few runs i believe i saw you across the lot. I really didn't know it was the end of the event. Next thing i knew after 10-15 runs the event was over and when i turned around most people were already gone so i just went back to my car and came home.

It's ashame because if i would have went earlier i would have been able to video the beginning and end of your run and maybe even a "bouncy" in car video if you wanted lol

 

Where at in Philly are you located? Theirs a lot of cars in the north east that meet on Thursday and Sunday nights. Check tristatetuners.com, introduce yourself and search around the site to see all the local events and people.

yea man search around, i know the tri state guys do a bunch of meets on fridays etc. I personally usually head up to oaks pa to meet by the movie theatre. generally its a decent turn out with a few evos stis supras etc... where in philly are you im always down to meet up. congrats on the new ride bro!

yea man, sunday nights at welsh and the blvd meets. i rarely see evos there but i was comin home from the movies tonight and an SRT4 and an RSX tried to race me lol. too bad i had a full trunk and my g.f in the car.

 

Thanks for the replies guys. Here's a pic . I bought it with an unknown motor issue from a buddy of mine which I have not figured out yet. I go to the Thurs night TST meets but there's not alot of Evos. I was hoping to find an Evo focused meet so I can get some ideas on how to rebuild the car better than it was and network some new connections.

 

Well if you can keep up with the 12 different conversations going on at once in this thread, we get some things together kinda randomly/every so often. There are always evo only. I hardly hit the regular meets so I can't voice on those too much, but regardless welcome man

Nice car, def has an aftermarket intercooler on it if you didn't know. Any other info on the car you could share? Like i said let us know where about in philly you are. I got a lot of friends in the area and am there from time to time.

I'm so glad I didn't sign up for yesterday... that would have sucked. Doug, Chu, I feel sorry for you guys, standing out in the rain and wet like that ALL DAY LONG. No thanks...

Not sure if I'm going to make carting tonight or not... just gonna see how I feel as the day progresses. Jeff, post up at some point and let me know what your thoughts are. Maybe your decision will sway mine...

 

it still took me a couple hours after I got home until I completly dried out. I thought everyone bounced right after I did, if I would have known you guys stayed around I would have went back.

glad you guys atleast got to make some runs for all the trouble we went through. That was some of the worst rain I've been caught in. Lucky we didn't get zapped holding that tent down

so how did everyone do? how was the course? was the right side on those options the way to go?

Hey, we just held an Evo only meet a week or two ago, will most likely be holding another one soon with some more planning. Will keep you in the loop!

 

That rain was crazy yesterday. Adam said a tornado touched down about 1/4 mile from where we were. Marc, when you dropped me off at my car, I was ready to pull out. Then it hit hard and I just sat there waiting for it to pass. JR came on the radio a few mins later and said its still on after they looked at the doppler. Glad I got to run, but I felt shi!tty after all that rain.
