Ryan, I feel so sorry for you... you haven't driven your car in 7 days. How will you ever survive? lol...
True. I think a roll bar may be okay. Not sure if I ever want to put a cage in my car. Maybe one that's not invasive. I will never drill holes in my dashboard. I know the rear bars can be run through the speaker holes on the rear deck.

jim wat kind of cage do you need to get if your running faster than 11.5? just a 4 point with a loop? u could always go autopower bolt in that way you can remove whenever you want. i know ppl hate on bolt ons but if it makes you legal it might be a better solution then cutting and welding up your car.

Honestly Ryan, that's exactly what I was thinking. People can hate all they want. I never hear guys getting *****ed at for running 9's without any equipment but you'll see guys getting flamed for running 10's with a boltin cage....haha. Reminds me of our Pennsylvania DOT laws. You have to wear your seatbelt while driving a car but you don't need a helmet on a bike. It's a freak'n joke.

or your exhaust is too loud but not nearly as loud as the harley that just flew by.

i need to get a harley rider on speed dial to do i drive by if i ever get pulled over.......that is, once my exhaust is in full effect.

^ where in PA are you.

Good looking out Doug on the AMS stuff. I see buschur just came out with a 3.5" street FMIC. even though he is a DB I may pick that one up if there is no cutting or trimming required.

Chu I'm protesting your *** in BSP with all that stuff done... sending an email right now. (that is unless you go to the next event and let Pete drive your car)

Jim I'm with you on the bolt-in cage. As long as it make you legal f-it. You can get away with running no cage at atco for a little while on the T&T nights but once they pull your card thats it, no more runs. Etown is MUCH more strict with that stuff.

What you (all of us) should do is roll like the big dogs and RENT the track for a day. Then we can run whatever we want how ever we want it.

yea there are a lot of haters out there. just do what you need to do so you can keep running. no point in tearing apart your dash and interior to have an expensive custom welded cage when all you wana do is make a few quick passes at the track.

there are pletny of street driven evos, like you said, with no cage running 9s, and all of the sudden no one says sh*t. apparently 9 is the magic number. theres a guy ive been talking to about selling his 4 point cheap up in mass, depends on whether you have a sunroof or not? your car is sick regardless, F the haters.

That sucks, glad you guys got it figured out. I've never done timing on a car yet and its been something i've been nervous about so if i was in your situation i would have been extremely nervous. Glad you had some good help though, hopefully when time comes for me i'll have some help and more knowledge on my side.
