I've gone through so many turbo swaps over the years that I can't remember what the hell I actually have now.
What's the full part # thats stamped on the comp housing?

That's just it, the comp housing is from a 9 and so is the exhaust. I bought it years ago and had it set aside. Once I went back to the 2.0 earlier this year and sold my old turbo, I put it on. I'm just not certain it was an actual 9 turbo that I bought (it was way to cheap and the seller was a little shady). I want to be sure it's a 9 before I sell it so I don't **** someone off and accidentally sell something that isn't real. I thought the exhaust blade was a different material or something like that.

I would think it would have to have a IX wheel in the housing then wouldn't it? Wouldn't the wheel be loose in the housing if it was just a housing upgrade? I'm not real sure about that stuff to be honest, but I have to imagine a comp wheel from an 8 would be loose as *hit in a 9comp housing...

weekends go too quickly anymore. i changed my brake pads finally this weekend. i think i need to go back out and do another round of bedding. i want to get a nice even blue hue on the rotor. i'm almost there. just finding the right time and place to do it is hard.

i found this amusing. this guy on here is showing off his evoscan setup for his X. now if you're going to make a video to show it off why not turn off the radio. the song just cracked me up. check it out: evoscan

do the viii's and ix's beep like that? some of the warnings and alerts on the X dash are annoying or silly. like if the car is running and you open the hood you get a warning that say's "close the hood!" It's "ok in a second when I'm done what I'm doing"

Jeff, the Ti wheel is only used in the IX RS turbo.
