It's an 8 MR turbo. I finally tracked down some model specifics and matched numbers. After looking at pics of a 9 I realized it was much larger than what I have. The search function on this site is almost useless sometimes and it turns up page after page that has nothing to do with the keywords I'm looking for so I got lazy. I feel dumb now.

So you have the 8 compressor with the 9 hotside. The hotside is what really matters. Should get your asking price easily considering hot sides alone go for 120-170 on here. And stock 8 turbos with the 9.8 have ranged from 250-300

Yeah. It wasn't the money so much as not wanting to accidently sell someone the wrong turbo. I know I'd be pissed.

The search on this forum does suck. It used to be OK, they f-ed it up somehow. At least you know now what you have, and knowing is half the battle.

GI Joe was the **** but I bet He Man could kick all their asses. I found if you search in asterisks you can do an exact search at least but because of the general suckiness of the American education system, everyone misspells and used improper grammar.

I think I am goona go with some kelford cams, as my 60k service is approaching, so I will end up getting rid of the GSC S1's.. LMK if anyone is interested..

I just got the special tool for installing upgraded Valve springs and retainers with the head still on the car so I figure might as well do kelfords, upgraded lifters, springs, retainers, tensioner, waterpump, timing belt and idler pulley as well as serpintine belt while I am at it.. LMK if any of you guys want them, they will be coming off in the next 2 mos. or so

BTW valve spring replacement is good times!!
