Thanks guys for all the compliments. First I'd like to thank Pistol for helping me out along the way with this new setup. Without his tune, I probably wouldn't be hitting 126 trap speeds spinning first and a little bit of second. Jim, sorry to see the evo take a rest for the day but she was runnin really good today, wouldn't ya say? And again, thank you for letting me use the jacket. They probably would of gave me a hard time without it. Everyone else, thanks for comming out for the fun-filled day and for all the pictures and videos that you guys posted. I shoulda broke my clutch in on the track yesterday. lol
I pulled on the highway on the way home and was wondering why it felt like a whole new monster. I didnt even think to look at gauges.
Well i did a pull this mornign too to get out of traffic and felt insane. Im like WTF, this cant be. . . .
So I gave it a little boost inth and saw 31PSi quick and got out of it. hahahahaha
I gotta check to see if a vac line got knocked off when my clutch was done. If not, then I guess crushing my IX valve helped quite a bit on boost levels and really was leaking a bit. I didnt do a full on run yet. Im gonna check the lines and then turn the EBC down and retune it to set pressure and see what I can hold to redline now.

well not really cuz it held it fine and didnt do anything crazy. I pushed it a little on the way home and didnt even think to look at the gauges cuz I didnt change anything drastic that i thought would do that.

But new clutch and crushed BOV apparently made a world of difference. I am in belief that I have a monster on my hands now. It deff just woke up after a long hibernation.

i am still fighting with the intake charge getting a litle hotter then Id like, but Ill take another crack at it.
Heat is gonna kill me still, but I am confident "if" i can launch it in october weather it will run a decent time slip. lol
I think some people that see it on the street will be pleasantly surprised with it now seeming how they thought it was hella fast at the beginning of the summer.

I checked and there is no vac line off, so I gotta put the gains down on the EBC and do a few pulls to see what i can hold to redline and see what kinda power it makes on a dyno one day.

What time did you leave? we bounced at like 3:45 cuz I didnt see anyone else around I knew.

Hey with those Flo n go tanks...can they hold e85 for somewhat long periods (weeks to month)? I'm considering the e85 buzz but don't want to azzed out if I can't make it to the 1 station in philly.

 

I left just after 3pm. It was a long day in the sun. I wish I would of hung out with you guys more, but I didn't feel like walking around trying to find everyone in the heat. I will catch up with you again soon.

I'd like to see what your car is capable of now too. It should really rip.
