I also spent over a year designing crankshaft , damper, flywheel, clutch assemblies doing both static and dynamic analyses. Toyota FTW, that is of course next to us here

thats awesome for Doug & Nick.

I 'almost' went to Drexel... I got accepted and was enrolled in their co-op program but life took a sharp left turn @ 18 and I had to go in another direction. NO regrets except that I wish I could have experienced the college party life a little instead of having to go straight into the work force.

i wish i went for an education that made me very capable with my car. but i'd just fail miserably. my whole family is in medicine so i was raised with that mind set i guess.

although both fields (mechanical engineering and medicine) require a good understanding of anatomy and physiology.

i started college at drexel (not as an engineer) and the party scene is very good. it isn't like other college towns where the police have nothing to do but bust underage drinkers. it's philly. underage drinking isn't a top priority in crime fighting in west philly.

Automotive engineering and design is not easy to get into. Very hard and competitive market out there. GL Doug! I read all about Drexel's engineering program in high school, and was very impressed.

My wife is taking this right now and its making her life miserable, tough class... She has to take A&P2 next semester, don't think she's looking forward to it.

Like Marc, I didn't get to go away to school either. I did plenty of partying though. I worked all through college and commuted to and from class, WCU over here.

Pete, are you picking up new head gaskets and tid-bits for your car? Have you found a set of coils yet?

i like anatomy and physiology. whenever i get a student, they probably end up hating me because i rely heavily on anatomy and physiology and also apply that to neurology. when you have to understand to perform a job function, it isn't as daunting as trying to learn it out of context and all at once from a book....only to be put on the spot and tested every few weeks.

i really feel like i could have just been trained to do my job without formal schooling. who knows?

Me

Shaw I like your design, but I think you should copy the KHC logo, with Petey Turbo Tuned instead. And make it one color so its easier to print cheap

I got all the gaskets and everything ahead of time. He did have to order a new thermostat housing gasket, thats the only one I missed. I should be in good shape though. Headstuds going in as well... As far as a coil, I got a used one for free, I just had to oay for shipping. Got it from him, http://www.spoolinup.com/, I'm gonna order this kit this week. I would have already but he had to make a few more and it was going to be a couple of days, so he hooked me up in the mean time.

My wife is struggling with the test as the teacher says there based on the class notes but my wife disagrees. This makes her sad as she is a perfectionist.

Me but Im working toward a mechanical engineering degree like apparently everyone else here.
My wife had a really hard time with anatomy as well. She took an accelerated course so it was constant cramming of info being a mom and occasionally fulfilling wifely duties. Its much harder than engineering IMO.
