I hear ya, Josh. My wife is forcing me to go down the shore this weekend to spend time on the beach with the outlaws (as Pete would refer to them). We were planning on driving back on Saturday night.

So, if you and anybody else want to try to get something going for this Sunday or even Monday, PM me. All are welcome to come. Our area has so many great roads to take advantage of.

You guys better be willing to go to the effing track when I'm all fixed up. I've been tempted to raise the rev limiter just a tad and raise my 2-step a little to see if I can better my time. I'm figure if I can manage a 60ft somewhere in the 1.6's and raise my rev limiter a little then I may be able to hit an 11.3 or even 11.2 but that's wishful thinking without an VIII 4th gear. By the way does anyone know what the VIII 4th gear is good to as far as MPH?

Nick, it is interesting that you're affected by two common X issues and Tim and I so far seem to be alright. Granted neither of us are running a MBC. I have yet to check my fuel pressure regulator hose but my idle is dead steady. I may throw a small zip tie on the the ends for good measure though.

I think you have better then an 11.3 in her especially when the DA starts to drop.

I know there is a thread on here with that info... I know @7k your right at 110mph, not sure how it goes from there but you may be able to figure it out on your own. Good Luck using the search button...

what's DA? I'm a little slow these days so excuse my dumbness.. I just read a thread where a guy was running out of 4th gear at 125.9. That's very promising if I ever get around to building my tranny.

Theres no prob with MBC so long as u dont go a few psi over stock, my problem all along was the the hose, i only realized this when i turned down the boost and still saw some hesitation and still the idle sucked...that hose will both affect my afr at WOT and my idle...that seemed to clear everything up and thats also not a common issue yet...i think ppl that have put alot of miles on the car with a few mods are only starting to find this out...as soon as i posted it up on the forums 2 ppl have noticed it

also theres no prob running a MBC when u have the GSR, the MRs are a little tricky with the boost line and pill the damn transmission is really touchy...it helps to have a tune bc the Xs are boost controlled by the ECU to compensate for the conditions in the area you live in, so if your tuned your on the safe side of the control loop

DA = density altitude. in a nut shell it tells you how much oxygen is present in the atmosphere... the lower the number the better. A DA of -400 would make the air feel like you are 400' below sea level.

Did that also fix the CEl problems you were having?
