Haha! I couldn't of said it better myself....and it's so true! He might own 5 DSM's. Talon's, Galant, Evo....

I did hear about that! I checked mine and it was fine. But for some reason they are coming lose on some cars. Since it was only one person at the time, I thought it was just very random, and he could of knocked it off at some point and then just noticed it one day.

Hey Sean..I thought it would considering that if the idle went below 500 rpm the exhaust would barely flow making the sensor think it was a lean condition, but no dice the light still comes on..its still the P0137 code

I did try alot of solutions to get rid of that code..I used another OEM sensor as well as a bosch aftermarket one (thinking perhaps the stock one failed or the stock one sucked), i tried various spacers, bungs and restrictors... that didnt work either. I used the Help part spark plug foulers, the vibrant performance spacer (that included different size restrictors in it), and I tried a J-bung on the ETS pipe that I have on now. I did notice that if i put the sensor directly in the flow I dont get that code any more but instead I get the P0420 code which makes sense becuause the cat is gone. I thought that if there was something wrong with the wiring harness, like if there was a faulty ground, the P0137 low voltage code would still come on but it doesnt.

Another solution i tried was turning the sensor off with EcuFlash but all that did was give me a no activity code. There isnt a real solution to the CEL with EcuFlash yet

My final solution that Im gonna try is a real o2 simulator that Im going to splice into one of the extra oem sensors that I have. If this doesnt get rid of the CEL I ran out of solutions....Ill prob have to either live with it or test the wiring harness with a voltmeter and replace it

Oh suck it Pete!!! The rest of us are just trying to get through this day.....hahaha. I've been browsing through all of the Drag Racing threads to see how I can strip my car further without getting rediculous and looking at 2-step settings and what not. I'll be damned if I don't hit 10's in this thing. Pump gas may be out of the question but meth for sure.

Why don't you just switch to E-85? You don't DD it any more... There is a place in Lansdale that sells it isn't there?

You sure about that?? If there is then I must have missed the Memo I know there a place in Jeffersonville but that's still a decent drive to get their. I've just been entertaining the idea of getting into the 10's on (93)pump. I know it's doable but not with my trans. I definately need the VIII 4th gear to accomplish this. I'm just gonna get Pete to do the meth and if I ever get my tranny fully built then I may try for 10's on pump. Right now I'm just looking for a personal best in the 11.2-11.3 range.

I thought that I had read that somewhere... I could be wrong. I wish I had a pump close to me.

same here pete. i'll be at the shore let's not forget it's week 5 of 6 of skin cancer treatment! the wifey is so understanding sometimes.

so i haven't been thrilled with how my car sounded and ran since getting the TBE installed. I was running a cobb stage 2 off-the-shelf map (i know). I was down on power and the thing was LOUD and just didn't sound happy. I felt like a ricer with all the noise but no go. I contacted Perrin about their stage 2 off-the-shelf tune. I ran their stage 1 and it was great (I know off-the-shelf tunes suck but I want to get a few more mods before tuning). They emailed me their stage 2 map and I reflashed it. I got my power back and then some. The car is about 25% quieter and just sounds happy. Finally I feel good about this whole thing.

Next up is an UICP and i pop my KN back in and off it goes to CBRD or Ivey.

btw I will say it again. if anybody wants to cruise this weekend, let me know. I feel for Josh with having to get into it with his wife only to have it canceled.
