I think its a great idea to get Chip out on course with a spotter when he comes to our events. he can be our offical SCCA photographer if he wants to. Next we gotta get him to run that VII of his.

Hey Brian, are you an AMS oil dealer or something? I'm about to swap fluids in the z06 this weekend in prepariation for an HPDE at the end of the month and I wanted to try some of their fluids. If you have 4 qts of ATF (must meet Dextron III spec) and 2 qts of 75w90 let me know, I'll gladly buy them off you to try out. Petey, I would get it from KHC, but I need it for this weekend and Brain is right around the corner from me.

 

No, I'm not a dealer . I just have a bunch stocked up since buying in bulk saved me on shipping. I have 2 quarts of the 75w90 in my stockpile, but no ATF since the Evo takes MTG (I have 3 quarts of MTG).

 

Marc just check there website. I have 5 dealers within 10 miles of my house.

 

Bummer. oh well, its good to know if I need any AMS fluids in a pinch I've got a hookup close by. I think next season I'm going to try that stuff in the evo and see how I like it. SO far I've used OEM, Redline, RP & Motul all with pretty good results.

I think I'll just try the Motul this time around. RT/Tuning stocks the stuff adn I have to run there this afternoon anyways.

they would need to be signed off and all that stuff, but basically yeah. I think that would qualify as your work assignment too if you wanted to run. There was a guy last year taking pics at all the events and thats what he did.
