Chu is right, I have the R/C 1200cc injectors in there. What was happening was, my injectors were opening full up top and the single fuel pump didn't have the power to feed them which made it start running lead up top. But the double pumper will feed them well. The injectors look like bazooka's compared to the stock ones . As for the retune, not sure but I need a new boost gauge before I do anything to see what my actual boost is.

Chuster, don't know when I'll be heading up there but if you do go let me know I'll make the trip up there.

Anyone ever purchased the OEM exhasut manifold stud kit before? Picked mine up from ExtremePSI, and it came with copper nuts. Wondering if yours came like that also? I'm gonna look for some stainless ones instead, or use some grade 8 nuts.

Ben, I'm gonna have to install my turbo first. Free tomorrow night? I'll meet up up at your place...

Chu,

The copper bolts actually work good. We actually use alot more copper pieces on our race engine stuff just cause its better on heat.

Peep this. Most race cars use copper head gaskets, copper exhaust manifold gaskets. They last a little longer than the stainless.

Yeah, but we're talkng about nuts and bolts hear. Copper gaskets are great becasue copper is a soft metal and more plyable, but I dont know about nuts man.

Chu, I bought my stainless exhaust stud kit from SlowBoy Racing. I don't know if they're a good or bad shop but they sent mine out right away with no problems. I plan on installing them when I slap on the full-race mani. I saw them on lancershop.com but the pic showed coppers nuts and they couldn't tell me what material the kit was made of so I went with SBR. Hope this helps.

I also wanted to mention the copper thing. DPS is correct in their assumption that copper is better for heat. In some ways this is definately better. We have some process areas in the refinery that have super heated steam running through them. Well most of what we use is stainless steel. The problem is in the compression fittings though. Once you pull them apart they never go back the same way. The stainless wants to gawl up real bad. I wanted stainless studs which is what I got but I wouldn't mind copper nuts. Luckily I do have some hi-temp nickel based anti-seize at home. By the way, Chu if you need some let me know.

Call me up we can do it at your house or mine, doesn't matter. And I used those copper nuts on my exhaust manifold, too, they're pretty good.

Here's a couple of pics to ***** around guys. I know you're all tired of me bringing up the mani but here it is for your viewing pleasure. I'm tempted to get it polished. What do you guys think?

While I'm at it, here's some pics of the old RSX-S. I gave it to my Dad to help him out. Did I mention I still owed $10k on the loan when I gave it to him? Yes, I'm a good son. I have a 14yr. old brother and I want to make sure my dad has reliable transportation to go see him. Ok here's the pics. If you know the RSX then you'll realize that the front doesn't match the rear. The car is a 2003 model but the whole rear including the hatch is from a 2006. I offered to put the stock wheels back on but he liked the black.
