Lets go Phils we need a win tonight!
How old is your battery? My rpms would drop when I would come to a light and I put a new battery in and the car runs fine now.

It was ground level customs in lansdale. They bought Philly Dyno Works old dynojet. Somebody he knew works there and told him bout a special on pricing for pulls so we got a few people together and went, and was glad i was invited.

Pete, it sounds like a vacuum leak, so as was mentioned, check the BOV line and the system in general. It's weird, I've vented forever on 2 different BOV's on the MAF and never had a problem with stalling on this car unless I had the A/C on.
Like I said I looked at all the lines that are visible without tearing anything apart. The car threw a code on friday but was running fine. Saturday morning I reset the battery and drove it thats when the idle issue started. Code is yet to return although I haven't driven it but a few short miles since then. I let the car run while I looked around hoping to hear a vacuum leak and found nothing.

If it throws a code again I may call on you Josh for a little assistance. You have EvoScan correct? I don't even have a laptop.

The battery is def getting tired, no doubt about that. Its the original, so its 6yrs old w/64k on it. I wonder if I should just try this and see what happens. It could use one regardless.

Thanks for the help gents. I'll look around some more today, hopefully it won't be dark when I get home.

Happy Monday!

TOo much to post on for a monday so I'll make this short...

Chip, those are some sick numbers, 500+whp is way too common now a days. 4G63 FTMFW.

Pete, you said it just started when you reset the battery, could be that the LTFT & STFT need to re-learn their values. That will take a few cold starts. A boost leak test is a good idea, though, as is logging with EVOScan.

Thunderbolt was fun, but I think I'm bored with that course now. Monticello spoiled me. I did 197.6 track miles, went thru 2.5 tanks of gas (almost ran out of gas one session and didn't even realize it) and killed my tires. I'm done with HPDE's for the year.

Sounds like a good time Marc.

I'm home sick today. I must have caught someting from one of the kids at the b-day party I was at on Saturday. I hate sick days because I still have to get up eary to call into work, change my voice mail, and set my email out of office. By the time I'm done with that, I'm awake and can't fall back asleep.

I'm gonna go get a battery at lunchtime today. We'll see if that cures my problem, I'm thinking its got to be something stupid again with this thing. Maybe my TPS is on the way out...?

Marc, you kill all four tires or just the rears? Two and half tanks is some serious fuel consumption there buddy. I've seen that thing in action though, doesn't surprise me.

Also, I'm not registering for this weekend unless I can get this car sorted. No sense in losing $40.

Marc, could you pm me how much you paid for an alignment at R/T. I know you had more work done, but I basically just want somemore camber. That camber bolt is not budging, so I mine as well let them do it since I want to get it aligned. DO you know if they would charge more, or does everyone alreade know to flip the bolts?

Pete, that was all four tires. they are almost to the point where the belts are going to show, there is no tread left at all, so driving in anything but sunny weather is all they're good for. I got just under 10k and 7 HPDE's out of them with a few AX's thrown in.

Chu, RT's prices are right on their site. I don't remember exactly what I paid cause I had a couple other things done, but I didn't get any kind of deal or anything. They know all about that essentric bolt and how to setup EVO's. Actually, the guy who does their alignments, Pat, remember my exact specs right off the top of his head!

Speaking of RT, Dan, did you ever get your stuff squared away?

Thanks. I'm gonna give them a call after work and set up and appointment for Friday when I leave from Lancaster. How are the ware on the inside of your tires doing with the camber settings you have? I'm thinking 1.5-1.8 in front and 1 to 1.5 in the rears. Shouldn't be too back for tire ware on my dd tires.

Anyone wanna stop by and hang out for a bit Friday?

Chu, depending on what time your having it done, you can come by my place on Friday and hang while you wait if you want. I'm about 1/4mile from them. Not sure about tire wear, I'll have to take a look.
