Carson, do you know why you went off? I'm trying to remember which one was 5, is that the one before the left hander???

im not sure if it actually is turn 5, but it may be. Its the one where there is a straight going uphill then levels off and a right hand turn. I was in forth going into the turn if it helps. I think i went off because it was pouring rain the first 2 sessions and then began to dry up and i may have hit a wet spot or as i went over the rumble strip. If you watch the video i literally just start drifting for no reason lol. can't figure it out.

what is funny is that in the oil pressure thread he says the car runs fine then in the knock sensor thread he says it runs like an 88 tercel.

I just drove it like 20 miles and it does seem to be better. No SES light or anything. I'm still so suspect of it with all that has gone on for me lately. I'm gonna take it to work tomorrow, if all seems well I'll sign up for Sunday. I've never had it do that to me before, I've only reset the ECU a few times and its always driven completely fine right afterward. Thanks for all the help guys.

It can happen sporadically and I'm sure the temperature drop wouldn't help. Johnnyangels car didn't seem to have to hunt for the idle very long when we put a mini battery in last week, but mine runs like a turd if I disconnect it. Let me know if it pops back up and you need a hand. I need to get out of the house away from my pregnant wife. I fear for my sanity.
Don't worry. I HATED my evo most of last year because it was down for engine rebuilds and trans rebuilds that I did not want to do. The thing never seemed to run, but now it's fast as hell and runs great with the exception of some clutch issues.
Dan, I highly suggest you buy that guys Evo. It seems like a very sound investment. I almost got boned big time with my Evo when the dealership tried to hide the 5th gear grind it had. In the end I saved $5K but I almost didn't notice it because he wouldn't let me drive it hard until the day I went to sign the papers. Seeing that kind of dishonesty is infuriating.

Thanks Josh. If I can help save your sanity in any way just let me know. I'll do what I can. I know what you mean by hating your Evo. Its been a long 4months for me... this thing best be running fantasic for a while or I'm gonna lite it on fire.

I know the turn you're talking about. I was getting air of the little jump on that straight. I've ran that course in the rain wiht my EVO and it was not fun, I drove like a little school girl cause I didn't want to damage my car. Heck, on friday it was dry and we still had a few people go off. I saw 2 wrecks, a viper and a miata both kissed the wall.

I just went to sign up and it asking me for all my CC info, I thought it had all that on file and I'm at work. I'll have to sign up when I get home tonight. I already have my work assignment though, I'll be at the Novice tent from 7:30-9. I may have you tech my car for me in that time Marc, that way I can just walk to course when I'm done working.

Pete, Laurie is a very nice lady, and will definitely let you go tech your car. I worked with her several times and she's awesome about it. She doesn't run, but her son Chase runs that worked-up Mini.

Marc, I might have that setup I called you about, lol. I dont favor the tires, but darn it, they're wide!

Have any of you guys read the "How not to install a CBRD radiator" you should check it out if you haven't already. Some f-ed up stuff in there...

Thanks Chu, I think I've met her before... Hopefully I'll have somewhat of an idea what the hell I'm doing at the novice tent.
