I don't know guys....it is a GREAT time to buy! Right now is when you will get your best deals. The only downside is you won't get as much for your car on a trade in/sale either.


On another note, is anyone coming out to Maple Grove on Saturday? Only two more grudge sessions left. I will be out for sure when it starts at 10am.

You said it right, it is a good time to buy (if you have some cash and no trade). But with everything so shaky do you want to put yourself into position where you want to make monthly payments for next 5-6 years?

 

 

I might be able to find some time to swing by maple grove. Its only a ten minute drive after all

I went to Maple Grove on Sat, and I was the ONLY Evo. In fact, there were hardly any Subarus and even DSM's. There was a bunch of domestics, both street and modifides. I will say most of you should be glad you never came. It was one of the slowest days as there were a ton on oil spills which slowed things down.

Anway, I did get 2 runs in. The first one I raced against my friend in a 2000 Trans Am with LS1 engine. He has some basic power mods like intake and cat back exhaust. I am still basically stock, except for a HKS drop in air filter.

I ran a 13.8 @ 100mph to his 13.2 @ 108mph. It was close at the start, and then he was able to pull away down the stretch. He had that edge in power and was able to pull on me. It was my best run so far, so I was pleased.

I was able to get one more run before I had to leave. I didn't get my best start the first time, so I made sure I let the clutch out a little faster this time. I was able to muster a 1.94 60' which was good for a 13.68 @ 101mph. Another person best. I don't think I will be able to better this time by much at this power level. I had about a solid run as I can expect. I now have an excuse for mods....lol!

A few of us are meeting up at McDonald's just off the PA turnpike in Morgantown. Get off at the Morgantown exit, and McD's is right there. I believe the time we are meeting is 8:30am.

Hello everyone, I need some advice from those of you living in the KOP area. I am moving to KOP over the weekend from pittsburgh and need to have my X serviced. There was pretty much only one dealership any evo owners would trust their evo's with in the pittsburgh area. I was hoping that you guys could help me find a similarly reputed one in the area for regular service.
