Your car was down...so unlike you. Anyways, I'm working like crazy. Got my suspension in, thanks for taking my call and giving your feedback Pete. I just got to Cali an hour ago, and about to drive to Covina to visit the Super Autobacs store? Anyone need me to pick up something for thing? lol. If anyone is looking for winter tires, I have an almost brand new set mounted on some ogged VIII wheels. Everything rebalance and was all straight. Shoot me an offer if you think oyu need them. hahaha.
Grab me a squash air freshener for realz...And don't suck up all the smell goods neither!! Good times out there in Ca. for sure, I spent alot of time there last year..

I agree. We don't NEED snow tires here. On my '03 Evo I had Pilot Sport All Seasons I would run year round. While they worked great in dry and wet conditions, the snow wasn't as grippy as I would like. So that's why I am going to try a dedicated winter tire this time around.
I used to be so hardcore about diving in the snow that I would drive to where the snow was if there was none near my house lol
I run the orig Pilot Alpin's on my car, going on there 5th season. There excellent, I imagine the PA3's are even better. I'll be getting a set of those next year. Michelin's are always good IMO, thats all I use (on the Evo at least). You'll like them, grippy in the dry (for a snow tire), good in the wet, awesome in the snow. The only time they get a little squirmy is when it's kind of warm and the road is wet.

We did Oaks on Tuesday's during the summer, and they were hopping most weeks. Plus, it gets dark by 5:30 these days which doesn't make for good weeknight meets.
We are due for a "Holiday" meet here soon, but that will probably be on the weekend. Hopefully you can make it out to that.
I would be up for a post Thanksgiving day meet if anyone wants to organize it. I have such bad luck with the weather when I do the organizing...as we all know! Maybe Art Museum on Black Friday since everyone else will be at the mall?
^ That may work... I don't know if my significant other has already made plans for me though. That day is always a cluster f*** with everyone off from work. All the moms and daughers are out and about, reeking havoc on the roadways.

On other news, Cali was very nice. Nice weather the few days I was there, and Super Autobacs was only 10 mins away from where I was staying, so I made 2 visits. They have all kinds of stuff, and prices are really not outrageous like everyone claims. Met a really cool Evo owner who worked there, gave me a ride in his APR widebody 8, and 15% off my total purchase. Didn't buy much, but it was very kind of him.
