Philadelphia Car Meets
yea thats a good point. every civic and srt etc will be out full force trying to show off. seriously was so cool back when we were 16. def trying to meet up at some point this weekend even if its just to grab a beer and relax. and about the mods, i feel like you will never get a response. I made a comment a WHILE back about racing my buddy in an rsx (forgot to mention it was at the track, and didnt say it was on the street) and go crap for discussing street racing. PMed him back...nothing.
I'm not Marc. I think thats for the hardcore autox'ers. Isn't that event like $100 or something outragous like that? I could Carson going maybe, but I think thats about it from our group.
yeah $100 is a bit steep for an AX. Only way I'm going is if I can get my Ohlins installed and have an alignment done before hand, otherwise it ain't worth it.
welcome to the board phillyexox!

Hey sup guys, its been awhile. Awesome to hear ppl interested in the wheels..like chu said dont know just yet. I know im either going to change my set up to either make it more daily drivable, change the camber and just get new tires, or just sell them completely (possibly the coils too) but idk yet.. waiting to see if drexel is getting me some hard earned cash back
i should be on here more often now that im out of school, whens the next meet, wanna be there!

I think when you start coming to the meets again, that will change your mind about selling you stuff!
There are a bunch coming up in April. Better get in on April 11th one. I think there is even a cruise to the meet. Check out the thread for the details....
has anybody been to nj thunderbolt racetrack for a race event? i am planning on going on may 3rd for the rolex series race but wanted to know how it is. there is only one ticket to buy. it that general admission where you can walk to different parts of the track to see the race or are you confined to a set of bleachers?
I was just there for karting this past weekend. I've never seen a race there but I would say its just general admission. Most of the race tracks are for those sorts of events. I didn't see any bleachers.
I saw the ALMS @ LimeRock last year and it was great, you can walk the whole perimeter of the track and get all kinds of good views. Not sure if you can see quite as much at NJMP but I'm sure it would be a good time none the less. I plan on going back to LimeRock this July, you should check it out. The wife and I really enjoyed it. Even ran into the boys from CBRD there in the beer tent... hehe.

I am guessing, you mean getting rid of the TPMS warning and not the sensors themselves. Is this for a second set of wheels?
yes exactly, i have two sets of wheels, but i hate going from one to the other and having to go to mitsubishi to reprogram the car for the current set of wheels on the car. its annoying and it costs too much

I was @ thunderbolt last year. only I was looking at the track thru my windshield instead of the bleachers.

seriously though, it should be a nice event. the club house is very nice. there are a few spots where you can see almost the whole track.
Until then, live with the warning light on the dashboard, or pay for it. I'm sorry, I know that wasn't the answer you were looking for, but there isn't a better one that I know of, for now. I'll let you know if I find a better solution for this.
