Jeff I hear you on not having a payment... that and having to re-mod is whats holding me back.
got a call yesterday from one of the sales people at that dealership. He was trying to get me to come in. I told him that I'm waiting for mitsu to offer 0% for 60months on all models, including the MR, then I'll come in and talk... maybe!

I'm just too in love with VIII right now to trade it in on anything, four years & 94k miles and the feeling isn't gone yet. It would have to be a SERIOUSLY great deal to make me even think about switching.

I don't think the offer would be that low, but I know I can get it at almost invoice maybe a couple of hundred above.

I told him the last thing I would want is an MR. That thing is going to have massive trans issues after being modded IMO.

What are they giving you for your VIII? Did you talk to anybody at Diambrosio just to see what they can or will do to get your business? Its a good time to be car shopping if you have the money.

I wouldn't buy another car from them if they were the last Mitsu dealer on Earth.
I haven't had my car appraised, but I talked with the sales manager about what Evo's are doing at auction (thats what they look at when they give you a number on a trade) and the #'s were close to where I would want to be.
I just don't think I'm ready to pull the trigger....

I would never ever ever buy another car from them either, but I wouldn't have a problem beating up one of there salesmen on a price and then firing that back at Faulkner to see what they can do.

Basically what I was told too...

Did you get a SSS for that? Or is it base?

Anyone go last night? Is there much of a meet anymore on Tuesdays?

Maybe we could make it more of an inside meet since it is getting cooler out? Meet at Champps? Hooters? etc...

has either of you tried fred beans in doylestown. i've dealt with their service side and they're a lot better than dambrosio. i would wonder what they are doing about all their evos they got sitting. they have one MR and i am sure it has a few miles. look pretty driven one day that i was there. mr trans sucks though....overheats, throws codes, issues with launching and thinks it can drive itself.

I haven't tried Fred B's. If I were to get one, I would go to Faulkner-Ciocca. My old man is friends with Greg Ciocca, and he used to work across from FB's, at Keenan Motors. I hate that drive to Doylestown...

For now though the VIII stays, I'm not buying a X. With the way everything is right now I'd rather hold onto my money.
