Go news from my company that those with the capacity, are allowed to telecommute...essentially people with laptops, and wireless cards. Essential people, like management and what have you, must come in. I think they're putting them in hotels close by. Others are suggested not to come in, so taking of is on their own dime!

 

I'm betting our company will be closed tomorrow. Hopefully Thursday too .

PO171 System to Lean... Funny thing is the SES light was off when Josh got in the car. It was on earlier when I drove it work. IDK... f-ing thing! Anyways I think it may have some thing to do with my POS narrowband, it hasn't worked right since Adam put my car back together. I know it threw that code when I first picked it up from him (before I had to take it back). Maybe the loose connection is messing up the signal to the ECU. I need to pull it out, been meaning too, but I've been meaning to do a lot of things, just no time with the house situation.

On to other news, there is a E85 station in Exton now. Just saw it today when I was going to meet Josh. It is right near the Sunoco refinery station on Rt30, east of the mall, west of Ship Rd., it used to be an Amoco, forget what its called now. I may have to make the jump, thats 2 miles from my house!

 

It is difficult to find a local owner who is selling his X wheels. I gotta get some before April, or I will be swapping back to my stocks.

our policy for tomorrow is if you don't come in you don't get paid and can't use sick/vacation time and it is an automatic written warning.....next time is suspension without pay.

 

I get off but it's without pay. Just what I want when my wife is about to go on unpaid maternity leave for 3 months and I'm backed up with projects that are supposed to ship this week. I guess I can drink heavily and go all Jack Nicholson on my family.
Thanks for the heads up on the E85 Pete. That's going to be awesome. The closest I could find previously was 20 miles away from me. Sorry Dan failed again. Sigh..... Sometimes I just don't know why he even bothers.

did i mention that my wife just took a new job where she'll have from 1-3 weeks off every month? and they matched her salary. i am pretty jealous.

i am now working on doubling my rate so i can work 3-4 days a week. probably won't happen as prospects outside of my current job are poor and boring.

 

I might do the telecommute thing tomorrow too. It all depends how much snow we get overnight. 3" and I will probably go in....6"+ and I am staying home. I brought my laptop home so I can keep my options open.
