So got the new Car & Driver magazine in the mail today and after a quick flip through the new 911 turbo does 0-60 is 2.9, and ran 11.0@128. I'm just blown away to see a magazine test a stock car and run those times. De-cat/straight pipe, remap, lighter (better looking) wheels and your running 10's.
Price as tested was $158k (base 133k), but i'm not trying to get into that debate. Makes me wonder what will be happening in 5 years. I've been a sucker for porsche turbo's for a long time now, i gotta find a way to get a ride in one of these.

Drifting was "kewl" 5 years ago. It's so blah.

They just keep stepping there game up, and usually i don't get hyped up over stuff like this but considering the magazine ran those numbers in a stock car that's probably insanely civilized for everyday driving just really took me back. The reliability of it comes into play as well.
Curious what Road & track magazine will run when they get there hands on it. Their my favorite "stock" production car magazine. I just get C&D for free so i flip through it.

Drifting is pretty cool, and I dont mind it. To be able to control a car like that is pretty awesome too. I just didn't like that fact that prices for junk rwd cars suddenly went up 10 fold, and everyone started driving around trashes and justifying that they're part of the car culture...

Good job Dan. Now that you actually have a set date, I think you're more thn like to add some additional parts to the mix!

I talked to Pete briefly last night, and I think we'll be tuning my car sometime arounf mid to late March. We;ll see how it goes...I may have some additional parts by then!

knowing Mike, he'll prolly ship your order today if you do it by 3pm. Question is, would the shipping service deliver it on time with this weather. TF is a great shop, glad your choose them! Do you plan to port the housing Pete?

Dan, get some 1000cc. Anything below are for whimps! lol
