Why injectors, just curious? I can understand a fuel pump...

Oh, I thought you said you were going to order it today...sorry.

Is there any machine shop near you? Would save some trouble from sending it out!

I'm sure there's some machine shops in WC... do most machine shops do porting? I have no idea as I've never looked into it.

he didn't recommend a size. he was telling me about a cobb base tune for e85 and their map notes call for DW800cc injectors. i'd probably go with 1000cc so that i may have more options down the line.....whatever that may be.

quick lunch time post...

pete, port that b!tch yourself.... its easy, all you need is an electric drill (every homowner should have that) and some bits to grind metal. For about an hours worth of work its well worth it. Gasket match EVERY flange and remove all the casting flaws.

I thought I was gonna get outta hear early but we've got a bid due out by Friday so I have to suck it up and stay.... back to the daily grind.

I would go for 1000cc and use a real direct ECU reflash and not an AP.

the new title is keeping me busy for sure but I haven't lost my passion in the least. I try and come on here at least once a day. There are LOTS of things I read that I'd like to comment on, but the thread moves so fast by the time I get to the end of reading the subject changed 2 or 3 times. So 90% of the time I don't even bother with a reply. I figure I'll catch up with everyone when I see them at the track.

Dan, I don't like those "one flash for everyone" type tunes, they're really just a waste of $$$ in my opinion.

Marc, not so sure bout doin that myself, I've never done any porting before. I would imagine the bits would set you back a couple of $ themselves...?

My box from TF got here, all I need now is some freakin tires and an alignment!
