I'm shooting for the Sonic meet, missed it the last few years cause of work. Hoping to have a few more things done to the car. Not sure who i'm going to cruise with, a group from the lansdale area is heading out that are all about rolling pictures & i'm friends with a handful of them so i kinda want to get in on that, but rolling in with a lot of evo's would be fun as well.

Ben, you gotta get a polished heat shield made up for that mani, it will look so much cleaner. i can't wait to get a ride and some good videos of it this season. Should be interesting.

The core reason for all WTB/WTS/WTT posts being in the classifieds is that it requires that those who post there have > 60day membership and > 50 posts. That is our biggest line of defense against signup, scam and split members, and largely our only line of defense. Allowing one thread here and another there to operate outside the rules makes the rules harder to enforce.

The regional forums were created just for this purpose, I know as I was one of the biggest complainers when our regional 'FS' thread was closed down.

That's not to say you can't have a thread for your region that has parts for sale, it just needs to be in the classifieds. I realize people like to know of other parts that the locals are selling and that some sellers want to keep stuff local so that they can sell to their friends/avoid shipping. A good middle ground for stuff like this is to have a regional FS thread in the classifieds forums where those subscribed can receive updates to it.

kevin i think there is a DE county group that is supposed to meet up with the chester county group.... i haven't kept up with the discussion lately but that is what they did last year.

last year we all met up and cruised together. we met at KOP....that was convenient because i lived a few miles from there. this year maybe we'll meet on the PATP or something.

 

Yea I rolled from the Exton caravan last year but that caravan was a joke. Terribly organized and almost lead to a pile up on the Turn Pike. The camera crew from the Montgomeryville caravan is sick and seems more organized. I'd go over on TST and check stuff out but I self ban myself for the sake of my brain cells.

Still, evo caravan > any caravan.

For the Sonic meet its pretty much a straight shot up rt 10 for us Dan. Its a fun drive downhill for most of it as long as theres no trucks.
