My car is no longer fully stock. It now officially has its first most extreme modification ever, a K&N air filter, and since we all know that the K&N air filter clearly gives me an additional 500 WHP, you guys better get used to seeing the monstrous demonstration of power breathing out my extremely silent stock exhaust.
^

Well when I get mine I should have at least 400hp and then I have 2 AMS stickers so that should at least put me at 550whp.

Or is the sticker thing only good for Honda's?????

The sticker thing is only good for Hondas and Acuras. We all know that V-tec automatically gives them an additional 400 horse. MAN, I wish I could be cool and have a Civic Si.

Somebody should make a "Real Men of Genius" Commercial just for the Civic Si Owners.

Today we salute you, Mr. Honda Civic Si Owner

**Update**

I recieved my AMS High Flow Cat last Friday and installed it. Now my car really runs and sounds good. I might go ahead and get the Cobb next but we will see. If I end up going to the May Dyno day and BBQ thing I might tune there, It really all depends though.

Seriously though you will no doubt notice HUGE gains. As far as tuners go I think Mellon does a great job for the value but you have to log and email back and forth. I also hear good things about "The Shop" talk to sikley about them.

Just dont go to the tuner that I was *****ing about at our pseudo meet. If you need a reminder who that is shoot me a PM.

Happy Modding!

PM me the tuner your telling members not to go too. I am curious.

Im actually in the middle of trying to figure things out with the tuner so id rather not. I believe I am a "special" case currently. The tuner has a great rep and I dont want to tarnish that at all.

-Ethan

EDIT: also just wanted to say that I am not going around talking **** about tuners on the forms and telling people not to go to someone specific. I met Yshen a couple weeks ago at a meet and he was asking my experience with certain parts and or people. I gave him my personal experience with a tuner because he asked and said there are other options. Just wanted to clear that up.

I'll vouch for that, he kept his opinion respectful enough that it was easy to tell it was an opinion.

Lmao!
Time for me to turn up the boost then. How dangerous do you think it is that I'm curious how much boost I can spike safely on my stock turbo. Kinda like when I forgot to put the boost controller back in when I was last checking it on the dyno... Never saw my car hit 381 ft/tq at 4k before. I swear the defi gauge maxed out, then the needle just spazzed. Got off of it, but now I curious, cause there was only one count of knock...

Yup. I'll vouch for that as well.

Now, as far as this goes... you boys have a LOT tto learn... its not about the INDIVIDUAL stickers... you actually get more gains with the better the combination of stickers you use....

StreetGlow + Audiobahn = 100hp
NOS + Alpine = 200 hp
GReddy + Sparco = 300hp
But if you want the absolute max hp that you can possible get....... you have to dub your car as either an autobot or decepticon.......

I've had the pleasure of owning a '01 Honda CRV. No, it wasn't covered in stickers. And V-tec wasn't falsely considered as cool back then. And I disgusted it in every single way.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a universal hate for Hondas; I love the S2K and I would probably make a porno with the NSX. I'm just tired of seeing Civic Si owners think that they're the fastest sh*t out there because of this V-Tec thing that they understand nothing about.

Never owned a honda but I fell in Love with the NSX when it first hit markets in Japan back in the early 90's. I also like the S2K only for me it is a little tight to fit in. I actually like the EK9 Type-R as well because it helped me win alot of races in Gran Turismo 3 on PS2. Other than that I really just dislike how some Honda owners act like BMW owners.
