Wow this sounds like an awesome time! I have a time share at the Trapp Family lodge and its a great place! Stowe is an awesome drive too especially if you take rt 100 all the way up, and im always down for partying my *** off and fireworks!... Ill look furhter into this. Thanks for the link!
On another note sorry I couldnt make it to the meet guys. The evo's registration is up in VT and i guess its time to actually register it in CT
Whats this I hear about they make you pay property tax on EVERY car you have registered? Man this state is out of control.

You guys should do the New England Rally Fall Run, Oct 16... Bring the woman with you... Its a cruise from Springfield MA to Stowe VT for lunch @ Trapp family lodge, then a drive through NH to Wrights Turkey Farm for Dinner, then up to some cabins in Pittsburg NH for the night... Its free to participate, just need to pay your own way... We already have our cabin reserved...

Oh yeah... And we'll be lighting off a ****load of fireworks and partying our asses off when we get to the cabins...

im not THAT worried about about getting it tuned and all that jazz because its getting parked for the winter. i would rather spend all winter with it parked and get done building it, then getting the tune and everything last, so it can take into account any other performance parts i get. it doesnt really bother me if my car doesnt move again til next march. as long as that means that its done. remember, this is a PROJECT for me, not my daily driver or anything..... i knew ot was going to take a while like this when i started
blah i dont understand how you people can let the evo sit for so long. I go through withdrawls if i let it sit in the garage too long. Heck last winter i was driving it with summer tires on because i wanted to drive it too bad lol. Was actually kind of fun. I do not even know how i am going to handle having to go back out to sea and actually not be able to drive it whenever i want =/
and ethan yes this state is gay. They take every bit of money they can from you. Hence why the evo is registered in Colorado, all i pay is the processing fee to reregister it. ya it is yearly but no emissions and no stupid **** laws like CT has.

yup, mine is registered in indiana for the same reasons. i can keep my straight pipe, tint pretty much however i want, no taxes, and a way nicer plate. lol. Liam, you think i dont go into withdrawals? you are crazy if you think that! I keep this project as a test to my patience though. It has helped me with a lot of the stuff i still feel from Afghanistan....
meets are overrated =P LOL. Ya i cant say i understand but i feel for ya. we got a guy in our office who was a Guard in Iraq for 8 months and hes all sorts of messed up. Hes been back for a few months now and is getting straigthened out. Im sure where you were things were alot worse but im sure it sucks no matter where your at over there in the sand.
i was thinking about it last night, but it was already dark out and i was beat...... i can grab it tonight. I have ppl coming over to look at evo parts anyways. I am currently in the Navy. There are actually a couple of us on here that are. I'm a Corpsman. For you Army folk, thats a Medic... but better....

I'm Air Force Reserves, crew chief.
My dad just retired from the navy a couple months ago, over 30 year vet as a E9.
and that meet looked like it was FTW too bad I couldn't make it
, oh well maybe next time.
So quick question... What are the window tint laws in CT anyone know? I have 15% all the way around except windshield. In VT your not allowed to have anything to the drivers immediate left front and right, but I always have a connection to get inspected. I assumed CT was less strict since i see EVERYBODY with tint. I have my CAT that I can throw back on real quick for emissions everything else should be good with exception of a license plate light or something like that....
I figure I should have at least once car registered in CT especially since i have CT auto insurance on the Evo bundled with the house.
Thoughts?

according to these guys its 35% for the sides, unlimited for the back, and a bar for the front

it says you need a sticker but I've never gotten one, never been pulled over for it
if a cop DOES pull you over he may write a fix-it ticket
I think at that point you just have to get it verified and your all set

Trust me... I've been in your shoes... And I tune cars (Well, i'm retired from it due to internet drama, but i used to)... And there are SOOO many times where people have all kinds of mods, none that flow well together, and you end up telling them to take crap off and go back to stock, or replace it with something that will work better...
