Hey guy....its no secret.

I found a really killer deal on a complete BR HTA88 kit with coated shearer headers...the whole kit was brand new.

This is the FP HTA37r that AMS did a test on a year ago. The turbo back than had a .63 back housing and performed poorly. Mine has the newer style .82 housing. If you compare an HTA35r to a 35r (which everyone knows the HTA35r is freaken amazing)...the HTA37r isn't making much lower spool than a 37r.....But the big difference is top end power after 28psi.

This turbo is proven with Dynoflash and Buschur.
Dynoflash
800whp, 9.78 @ 153mph

Buschur black drag evo
920whp, 8.8 @ 166mph

Both cars ran this HTA88 during summer and fall. Im going to have a lot more lag than my HTA35r but the power will hopefully make up for the spool. Im also doing a complete new fuel system, new bov, aem tune, etc.

When I have numbers I will post them.

Tim I actually was thinking about our conversation the last time my car was on the dyno. The HTA37r with the .62 back housing just came out and we were laughing about what a crappy turbo it was....$500 more than a regular 37r with no spool differences.

Hopefully the newer version, HTA88 w/.82, will be more impressive. The build is in no way a secret....I just got sick of you having more power than me with a hell of a better fuel system....so you pushed me to go even crazier with the car.

Lol, well I upgraded the fuel system more after I sent you that PM. The car made more power but I'll wait to see what you make before I tell you!..hehe! You should make a lot more top end and it should pull crazy on the top end. Did you drop it off yet? Any idea when you'll get it back?

They already swapped the new kit....but I have to go through emissions....im 8 months overdue

So stock injectors, stock maf, stock egr valve, stock airflow sensor, blah, blah....should go through this week and than they will attack fuel system. I should have numbers in the next week or two. Than you can tell me your final power.

Are you going with silver coating or black?

I have seen many of the black manifolds start to turn a brown color after a while. Silver ftw!
