Maybe someone can give a hand. Im home here in CT on leave and I just bought a Evo the day I left. The car drives fine but after trying to get on it I noticed a problem.

The car drives without a hitch as long as I'm at partial throttle. But as soon go to wide open throttle and go over about 13psi the car starts to buck and the boost drops off. Or if Im at partial throttle and high RPMs it'll start to buck also.

I brought it down to Key Mitsu in Milford and he looked at it and said it agreed it was a boost leak, said he couldn't get to it until Saturday but I could take it home till then. But when I went to pick it up my GPS and Radar Detector were stolen outta my car so I'm not planning on bringing it back there.

Anyone have a little while and the ability to help me find the boost leak and fix it. Im supposed to bring my car to Buschur Racing for a TBE install and Tune on my way back to Kansas. But cant get the tune if I cant fix the boost leak.


Ill bring some beers or whatever let me know.

Well Im on leave actually I havent been home (in CT) in over a year, I stay up near waterbury but I dont mind driving if hell take a look at it for me. Just wanna get it fixed so I can get the car tuned and what not.

 

Well..waterbury and torrington are like 20ish min from each other, if that!..GL!
