CBRD= definition of customer service....

Well today I took my first trip to York PA to go check out this shop. To be honest, I wasn't going just to check it out but I infact was in a pretty awkward situation becuase a member by the name AFMAFIA sold me a koyo that had a leak in it's core. Whilst bolting it up with my dad a couple of days ago we noticed it when we filled it with coolant...

After realizing it was where it was leaking from and not wanting to pay or worry about a repair failing again, I decided that a new radiator was the only way to go. I called around frantically all about the TriState, found STM up in Rochester able to get them quickly but not in stock, a couple other shops/vendors on here, yet ended up being helped by somebody that didn't even have one to sell me!

I sent Chad from CBRD a msg, within about 3 minutes of aim conversation he was willing to first 1. call a customer who had one on the way to ask if he was ok with waiting a little bit longer for his to arrive ( for them waiting for the next bunch of cores to come in, and essentially selling me his sold one) then because the customer needed it 2. offered me the radiator off of there Time Attack car

It wasn't so much that they make a fantastic product, have a medically clean facility, or are extremely polite, intelligent, friendly people, it was the fact that without ever meeting me face to face Chad/Caleb were willing to go above and beyond the normal level of work to help a fellow car-nut out.

CBRD thanks again, radiator went in quickly and easily, I am shocked at the amount of space around it...

My dad already looking at lifts and floor coverings for our garage, you have him feeling extremely behind the times now, still thinks the GTR is too big

you should have gone with CBRD radiator to begin with, it's 10lbs lighter than stock, it's thinner and the radiator hose goes straight path away from the ex manifold. There was a review on the evom, when I first saw the relocation of radiator hose, I never look at Koyo again. This is the best design radiator you can find on the market now, and light weight is always a plus especially on a front end of the car.

That place is the best. Chad always does a great job of making you feel like you are the most important person. I think thats why so many people rave about the work they do. Its the reason I go there...

Glad to hear you got you issues taken care of, you went to the right place.

Beyond the thinness and the movement of the hose, also look at the end tanks of the Koyo vs the CBRD, there is NO way for water to make it to the outside edges of the core given the span and height of the hotside of the end tank on the top of the radiator.

I agree, there really isn't another one on the market to consider, but I got the koyo in a package deal with a DC Titanium strut bar for cheap so I went for it! My mistake.

They are great people!
