in one word, NO. Stock ECU a/f setting at the top end of the rev range is very rich, wasting fuel and losing power(combined with lowered top end boost) Even with a stock setup, SAFC will help you release some of the top end power. SAFC is a very good investment if you like doing your own tuning, its a bit more flexable than an ECU flash, but the limitation is that it only does A/F. You really dont need any additional mod in order to have your car 'support' safc, you can add it as your first mod or you can add it when your car is fully modded. The good thing with the safc is that it'll grow with your car as it gets more mod, then you can set more aggrasive a/f maps(to a point). Personally, I would install the boost gauge and turbo timer as the first mods and go from there.

Anyways, around Boston, the closest AWD dyno is ktr performance, www.ktrperformance.com in CT theres Pruven and XX tuning.

I understand the SAFC now.
But not to sound way out of touch here, but the turbo timer is????
I'm guessing, but does it monitor the engine/turbo and tell you how much cool down is needed or recommended? I am sure it does other things also but what?
