lol... threads like these makes me wanna bad mouth some dealerships for their lack of self-respect. i purchased my evo knowing it'll kill me in the insurance AND monthly payment department. i had to make many sacrifices to get what i really wanted. in the end, the dealer was willing to help get me in the car. after that, they didn't want anything to do with me. they've made their sale, now it's on to more sales... that's where their money lies.

not to bad mouth evomadness, but it's not your job to say who's not a potential customer. everyone has the means to buying what they want, and just because there's 10 evos on a sales floor doesn't mean that they can't be selling them for less then msrp! i know of a shop that has 5 or 6 of them for roughly 28k!

I told him that I was at least three months away from buying and was just taking a look at which time he asked me if I wanted a test drive, of course I did. He tryed to see if I would be interested right then before he brought the car around and I said no, so he said just keep him in mind and we will take a spin anyway. He did not ask again and gave me his card when I left. Three months later I walked in on a tuesday and drove out with an Evo for invoice. If I had run in to you with your attitude I would not have bought from you, nor would I have sent the two other people over to buy their two Evo's from the same guy either. (which I did and they are driving them now.) Those five people who walked in and kicked the tires may have walked right back out and bought their cars from somewhere else.
I understand what you mean but at the same time.....why would I want to sell 3 evos at invoice???? Seems pretty pointless to me!!! You can keep your 3 evos, thanks anyway.

Its tough from my point of veiw because I sell 3 evos a month but have to filter through 200 cutomers to get those 3 real people. It gets rediculus!!! I guess Im venting

do you have any yellow evo's in stock? no sunroof, tall spoiler with less than 10 miles?

Ok, evomadness, you are an idiot, just keep diggin yourself deeper into a hole to the point where no one will consider buying from you. Vent somewhere else, here is not the right place to do it in where people here can become potential customers. I know it can probrably be hard for you to work with "kids" that just want to test drive the car come in but you have to be nice to everyone and give them all a chance. They may not be serious now but who knows who they might know that is or maybe one day may be interested themselves. Also i don't think its to smart to keep insulting people on this board. JUST LEAVE QUIETLY or don't cause it is quit amusing to read your responses

.

It is my job to figure out if someones a potential customer!! Everyone does not have the means the buy a $30,000 car. Everyone seems to know some dealer somewhere with better prices!!! Give me a break There is no reason to sell a car, especially a limited availablity car for no profit. These are businesses not charities. I would never sell an Evo for no profit. I ,just like thousnads of other people have waited 10 years for a car like this and there is no shortage in customers!!

Selling more volume = more overall revenue for your dealership, right? That and then if you move more cars, you get a larger allocation, right?

Sure your margin on each car is lower... but 10 happy customers buy 10 cars and tell 10 others of their expereince.

1 Unhappy customer tells others of their expereince, and you make no sales and they decline becasue you refuse to accept the customers offer.

Quite simple... happy people mean more business. Unhappy people means less business.

All you're showing here is that you're greedy and want to make as much as possible from each sale for your coffers. All the more reason to stay away from your dealershipp... because evidently you're not in business to make customers happy.

Would you want some kid or anyone test driving the car you are potentially buying??? Everyone wants these cars with no miles on them but get mad when dealers only let immediate buyers drive them?? We cant win!!!! Subaru wont even let immediate buyers test drive!!!!

Not my call. If you get many people coming in about the evo, offer them a test drive. Then sell the car at a reduced cost in a few months. Someone will buy a test mule... or trade it at auction.

People ARE getting test-drives in cars. How are THEY doing that now? Because there are some dealers where the eomployees and customers aren't bottom-lined to death.

This isnt a volume car!!!! But thanks for the sales process!! Of course I would want to make the most I can..... thats pretty stupid. I guess you would like to go to work somedays for 30% less. Its how we make a living, but I dont believe I am a crook because I want to profit. We give FAIR prices!!! True market value on this car is 1500 over sticker and I give prices at $500 under sticker but Im the greedy one!!

Not a volume car? Haha. Every car sold to your dealreship, volume or not, makes the dealership money.

Go to work 30% less pay? What are you talking about? Happy customers BUY MORE. Profit? Hahaha? How about the taxes and insurnace NOT paid on the car because it's just sitting on the lot for 4 months. Think of the overall savings then!

If you moved cars faster, you'd pay less taxes on them just for sitting on the lot. You'd make your money faster.

What do I know? You know everything there is to know.

How about... WORK HARDER! Gee that's a new concept, huh? How about less complaining about the customers and more effort in making them happy?

We have an average or 6 days that an Evo stays on the lot hence we pay no interest, but I guess you knew that!!!! The fact that we sell 2 or 3 evos a month which doesnt really affect our volume too much!! And you dont pay taxes you pay interest... but you knew that too!!!
