Dear AIB,

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sa...nkei-rpf1.html

I also think you're thinking of the Weds TC105N, which are abour $500 more than a set of RPF1. Just saying.

Love,

Chu

The TC105N's were the wheels I was thinking about. Yes they are more expensive than RPF1's but I hear they are a tad stronger along with being a touch lighter.

I did see the link you posted, but those are 17x9 and I'm loooking for 9.5.

Pete and Marc, is that brake deal legit? It just got me thinking after I read the warning/notice on the front page of carbotech's site yesterday.

I'm confirmed for Porsche and Planes too. I don't think anyone needs to play nice. The organizer was pretty nice to us last year. He was more concerned about whether we liked the course or not than what we were driving.

Marc, either youre a wheel ***** or selling those CCWs will free up some decent cash.

Yeah, I'm gonna do the saturday with EMRA. I would much rather run Thunderbolt again, but I didn't see anything this month that really appeals to me. That and the fact that the EMRA event is so effing cheap, its almost a no-brainer.

Kenny, you should really be running this event also. Its cheap and Lightning is the easiest track to learn. Time to get your feet wet, playa!

Brake deal is def legit IMO, but I find out when they show up.

Whats it say on Carbo's website? Edit: Looked at the site. No cause for concern as far as I can tell...

Pete, if you look at the very bottom of the homepage, you're see a notice.

As for EMRA, I will be doing that. Need to figure out the days becasue Chau will drive also. I've been looking for other events and cant' seem to find any. The PCA one coming up is only open to Solo and Advance groups...fugggg

I think its legit... I talked to the guy on the phone and he seems genuine about the offer. If not, I paid with a CC so they can hash it out. But I really think its on the up and up, otherwise I wouldn't have placed the order.

I'll be selling the wheels to A. free up some cash for other things and B. because I don't really use them...

I want to do the emra event but I can only take off either that sat or the sat for the holbert race. Damn working saturday sucks.

Don't forget the EMRA event on Saturday is only three sessions. Look at the schedule on their website

For the EMRA Saturday practice would we be running in the three time practice sessions (20 minutes each)?

Nevermind. Thai got me, yo!

It also only costs $75 which is practically autox money IMO. And you pay an extra $100 for one more session if you run Sunday.

Tim, if you have to pick between the holbert and a track day... pick the track day.
