i know some of you guys are considering doing the EMRA event at NJMP on July 30/31.
Dan had a question for me, so i figured i answer it here in case anyone else has the same questions.
EMRA only has TimeTrials, so if you want to do HPDE you just register to do TT. anyone can do TT even if it's your first track event, they'll just have an instructor with you and might sign you off at the end of the day. you don't need a transponder unless you want times, and they have them for rent. Saturday is TT practice, and sunday is TT or you can do both days for $400. remember to check the box for new driver to get $100 discount when you register. make sure you register before the deadline so you don't get $50 late charge.
i think Pete Tiebout is organizing a group of Evo's guys to go down.
for those who are interested in instructing for them, you instruct three days and get one free day.
they have Novice, Inter and Advance group. it's point by passing in all groups, no open passing.
- Saturday Timed Practice: $175
- Sunday Time Trial: $275
- Weekend Combo (Saturday and Sunday): $400
*There is a $50 late payment fee for any payments received after Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

A few comments for Thai's post. Hopefully he can answer them.
Looks like we will need a time trial license ($40)?
And is there a promo code for the first timer discount because there is no box to check off for the discount?

May wait for the next Track daze. I don't know about be on the track with a large noobz crowd too. But the price is right.
what the heck, i wrote that long post and no one read it. :P
yes, everyone needs the $40 TT license.
i'm check on the $100 first time discount. i hope they still offer it. they had that since i ran with them 3 years ago.

Robert, I don't think Trackdaze will be back up this way for the rest of the season! Better look for PCA events. PCA RTR will be running Pocono, which I may do.
You'll be fine. The most important thing is that you get out there in the first place.
