usually it's not the rotor's surface but more of pad accumulation- Once I put on a set of RacingBrake ET500™- the pulsating went away!

Most times brake pulsing is just pad material build up on rotor. I have cured this on the Evo by rebedding the brakes per brake manufacturers bed in procedure. It is worth a try before you pay someone to look at it.
Pete, I agree that cutting rotors is a waste, you can buy cheap Centric brand replacement rotors for the cost of getting rotors cut.

My windshield is cracked too. I researched getting a replacement, if you get the light windshield for the Evo its around $600. If you get a regular Lancer windshield it is $225 area. The lancer windshield is much heavier than the Evo's from what I understand.

If you figure out how to get a replacement windshield at a reasonable cost let me know please. I am sick of the crack in my line of site now for 2 years.

Safelite replaced my evo windshield twice now. I think it was only like $170 installed and they used an EVO windshield not a lancer one.

who all is coming to P&P this weekend?

Some brake clean and 80 grit sand paper are going to be your friend. Or go to rockauto and get some centric rotors if you do not feel like cleaning yours up

You sure they used an evo windshield? Because when I called a windshield place and questioned the windshield they were using the same windshield for both Lancer and Evo. The actual Evo windshield is NOT easy to find. Call Safelight and ask them about both cars and you will see. Its just like the friqqin replacement ball joints part #'s that are listed on Moog are the same for both Lancer and Evo.

Track pads are really good at cleaning your rotors, especially if you have street pad material on them already.

IIRC there is a serial number or some code on the corner of the windshield that differentiates the EVO glass from the lancer glass. i made sure my replacement glass was the correct one when it was installed. this was about 4 years ago though so maybe things have changed since that time. Honestly though dude, do you really think it matters? I mean we're talking about what, maybe 10# difference in exchange for a stronger glass. I wouldn't really care that much but I'm not looking for every weight savings possible either.
