I agree about skipping the skylights, although I think you were kidding. We had them in one of our bedrooms and all it did was leak no matter who came to fix it. we wound up just redoing the roof and eliminating the skylights all together.

I would love to re-do my garage too...

Chu go for it- or either install like 4 rows of halogen lighting.

I'm going to install metal pegboard along the whole wall and set it up like importdps with parts zip tied to it baller style.
I just moved into my sisters house and its a 11x20 garage. Were taking 4 feet off of it to make the laundry room into a laundry/bath room. Im painting the floor, doing all new lighting, pegboard on the front wall, and a cabinet for my detailing stuff. Nothing too crazy just a nice place to clean my car.

I was joking. The garage need more lights though. I plan to have Sandy come run the wiring for it. I don't have the skill. It will be great during the winter since I already dont have enough lightning when it gets dark.

it's not to bad chu- but you can spend like $100 and you'll have enough light for any project
plus you need a hanging retractable light too.

James, you got length but not width. All the boys know, width matters!

I used quikrete epoxy floor paint. Prep is key like any paint job (I cleaned it a total of 5 times with several different products).
I've dropped tons of stuff on it and it has never peeled or flaked

I just ordered this pegboard
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER
I shall cover both left and right walls with this stuff! I'm gonna paint it gray or black first.
