I am salty that my track plans for August are basically non existent.

I cancelled my reg for the GTA event last night. Two 1.5 hour sessions per day for 40 people just wasn't worth the $400 reg fee. I've got to find something else to take its place...

Pawn the kids off on the out-laws so you can do the PCA event.

 

I don't think $375 is so bad for two days. Trackdaze was $380 for 2 days. Plus this is on a weekend.

$535 for NASA for two days I find to be a slight atrocity.

 

yeah and its probably not event 3 hrs cause they have 3 groups of cars and 3-sub groups within those 3 groups. in reality its probably more like a couple of 20-25 minute sessions per day. the only 'cool' things is that you'll be on track with some bad *** cars, which would make for some nasty vids. Imagine getting passed by Serra-Serra or some big named shop like that and trying to chase them.

 

if you can do a day for less than $200 you're getting a good deal. when you get solo'd and are a PCA member you can do 3 days @ NJMP (weekend) for $465, that is only $155 per day. Break that out into 5 sessions and its about $30 per session.

 

I am doing a track day at AC (Bader Field) Airport this Sunday, just saying.

I am in search of used A6's, I want half used (25 run tires or less) tires. My Hoosiers are completely gone, no good at any kind of speed, car could not really be pushed the way I like to we basically ran fast times by our third runs, could not improve after 4 more runs, thats kind of unusual for me.

All I have is new tires for Nats. I may just hold off because I do not really even have $ for Nats right now let alone buying a set of tires. If anyone wants to buy a set of tires and co drive rest of year on them with me let me know... We can work it out

 

nasa is more for racing, i don't know why people would do hpde with nasa other than to go through all the levels of hpde to they can do TT or race later with nasa.

 

I am going the week of aug 23rd.. If you are down there we should meet up. I am going to a 4wd access only beach area.. I guess you need to drive 4 miles through beach/sand areas to get there, and it's like a little town I guess..

 

I am going down their wed the 31st till sat.. From what i have seen is 4wd is huge down their, I might rent a jeep

$375 with BMWCCA is cheap for a weekend event. Consider you're also taking time off work for the other weekday events.

I'm royally pissed I had to leave the bbq early! But want to say thanks to ben for hosting another great bbq! Hopefully you werent on the negative side too much money wise!

 

I hear you with regards to it being on a weekend, but I track both Sat and Sun, chances are I'm taking off Monday anyways. That ish wears a brotha out!
