At least you know the front splitter is doing its job. were you able to attack the lightbulb harder with that extra downforce in the front? can you adjust the AoA on that wing??
I would not call it "a ton of aero." But it does make a ton of power. The treadwear on the RS-3 is 140. For comparison sake, our tire of choice is 200. Difference? Maybe.
Thai, maybe the huge Kognition wing will even out your car? lol

I read a couple of the Prof Awesome guys car blog/posts. Their VII is a real TA car, built to the rules. I knew going into it there was no way I would beat up on that thing. all they have to do is switch tires to go from limited to street.
Still though would have been nice to see how I compared. Looks like a good time. how did others do? I saw a pic of our boy Jermey in the white X.

Jeremy also blew the tranny on the evo x on sunday
Sounds like I missed a good time. I wasn't thinking about that race at all this weekend... nope, not even a little bit.
anyone have video? I'd like to see what I didn't miss, lol.
I've been hearing more and more about brake lines failing. Usually SS lines are the ones failing too which is weird. a lot of old racers I've talked to won't put SS lines on their cars, only OEM.

i think the GST subaru did a 1:2.xx, they might even went under 1 minute. that thing was so sick. Rado did a best of 1:8.xx on saturday, not sure what he did on sunday. i think he only did a total of 8 laps the whole weekend.
i talked to the promoter of Time Attack and he told me that TA is drag racing on a road course. if your car is not broken at the end of the day, then you are not doing time attack. they go out for one warm up lap, do 1-2 hot lap, a cool down lap and they are done for the session. the 10 minutes session is broken down to two 10 minutes sessions for fast group and slow group.
most of these guys run super soft autox tires, so they can only do a couple laps anyways. the GST subi put on brand new hankook C91 on every sessions. must be nice to have tire sponsor. i was trying to get a free set of their takeoffs but they said they were already given away. probably 80% thread still left on them.

most of the problems i've seen on SS brake lines are the crimp of the banjo fitting on the lines, the line would leak or pop off at the crimp it was an issue on the s2k, and most racer recommend replacing the ss brake line every season if you race.
