Why wouldn't you? The difference in cost for tires is minimum at best, couple of bucks.

I'm running these right now, but I got mine from rotorpros. The regular 121's don't have a painted hub, only the premium "120's" do. They're a whooping $65ea.

I'm running carbotech xp10 front and xp8 rear.

Still on stock rotors but will probably go with cheaper blanks when I replace them.

BTW,

I grabbed a case of Yards Cape of Good Hope, and it's pretty damn tasty. They call it an Imperial Pale Ale, and it was bottled 7/27/11

best way to clean off your rotors is to put on CL pads (RC6 or RC8) and drive around for a couple hundred miles. sintered iron is like sand paper when its cold.

i had horrible pad deposits from Hawk pads at the track and couldn't even steer the car when i hit the brakes. i thought the rotors were done but Tim let me use his set or RC6, after 5 laps and the rotors were back to normal. so i keep a set of old RC6 in my tool box in case i need to clean my rotors at the track

I run rb et800s with slotted rotors. It works well. Next set will be xp10/8 with blank rotors
