Home depot only sells 3/16" pegboard
this is 1/4" thick and hardboard which is more durable.

plus amazon = no tax and free two day shipping thanks to prime.

that looks good sir. have you tried putting the car up on jack stands and does it leave any gouges in the paint?

I just had my garage semi-redone. Add a double door and installed new windows. I still need to insulate it, install siding and do something with the mess that I have on the inside. What we really need is a PCD garage make over day... sorta like the Amish do with building houses except we'll have beer, hookers and blow... we can do each others garages and get it banged out in a very short amount of time.

i'd like to redo my garage floor next spring/summer. i bought the house with it done already but it's wearing away in places like where tires run in and out.

it's great for oil and fuel spills.

They must have used the cheap stuff. Some I know used something cheap and it wore away pretty quick. Also flaked off in some areas.

Maybe but it is like 8-9 years old and is only worn where the cars tires touch. You've seen it.

Basically most over the counter floor paints are water and epoxy based making them not very strong. the heat of the tires wears into the epoxy breaking it down and eventually coming off. it will happen to mine eventually but ironically i don't park my car in there (too much crap in there right now).

What you will need to do is get a floor sander to get rid of all the paint including sanding down the area where the tires sit. tires leave a residue on concrete which makes it hard to have paint stick on it.

good options for you dan is race flooring (since you're a baller you should do it) or get higher end aspartic flooring which leaves a very thick protective layer on your garage

Thanks for the consultation. I'm no baller.

It also gets tons of salt in the winter on it too so I think that would play a role in breaking it down.
