Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
I didn't know there was an issue either till i finally had time to drive the car, lol.
I'm pretty sure its something small (hopefully). If not I know Vince will make it right but before I give it back I want to see if its something simple I can fix. I'm hoping its just a knock sensor or something...
what really sucks is my computer crashed on me a few months ago and ever since I haven't been able to open any ROM's in ECUFlash or use EVOScan because it says my ROM image can't be read. All I have is the EVOScan PPC to log. I read the log file in excel, but I can't adjust or DL my rom at all. FML

Now that I think of it I'm full of awesome and you're full of Nguyen.
Marc, talk to Josh. He's run a balance shaft delete in his 4g63. He's dealing with phantom knock in his 64 now too. He's messed with the knock sensor quite a bit.
I disabled mine and now I dominate.

It's a fairly common issue with bshaft deletes. Most go about it by slightly desensitizing the knock sensor so it doesn't register the knock as easily which has it's pluses and minuses. In my case it's probably a bad knock sensor or EGR valve but I do have almost the same exact issues. Even with the sensor deactivated or the threshold raised I get a CE light indicating a knock sensor circuit problem and it registers knock at any boost above 1 psi. Removing the cams may play a role in low end timing so I'd pull a degree or two and see if there's any change. If not then raise your low and mid knock multiplier tables by 1-2 and see if that helps. If that still doesn't work you may be chasing something else like a bad sensor which is possible if the wire was yanked when the head was pulled off. Pretty sure I did that on mine. The other codes could be related. I was also getting other random codes like the baro initially but that seems to have stopped. 600 miles on the motor and I still can't tune it yet.
