well
there is a hole for a tv in the fireplace. I want to partially fill it in, put all my electronics behind the TV then use an IR receiver.

I'm not sure how to raise the bottom of the hole.

When I did mine (pics on fb) I put 2x4 between the studs and that allowed me to to frame out the opening to any size I wanted. I then built a box and shelves put it in the hole I studded out and attached it.

Maybe try running a thicker fluid, like redline heavyweight shockproof, and see if that helps. FWIW, my rear and TC both whine and have for a very long time.

I have a ticking noise in my rear when moving at low speed in paddock. When moving at speed I cannot hear anything. As far as decel noise I never noticed it Autocrossing and have not driven the car on road in 4 years to know if it does it or not.

I feel your pain Tim... feel your pain With that said I am going to Adam's tonight to try and move this car completion along. It will be down to the wire if I can get car ready or not. I will not work on car all night Sat. and then go driving Sunday with no sleep, tried that Autoxing and it was not a good experience. So hopefully I can get this thing ready Saturday daytime and on trailer for the domination. I am sure I will have a good idea after tonight if this is even a possibility.

Marc is it a big deal if I just leave the Schroth harness and my race seats in for the event? I assume I will not have time to mess around with stock belts until after event. The Schroths are DOT legal. Also is my cracked windsheild a problem or can I leave it? Not sure if I will have time to get it replaced prior to event.

i got my windshield replaced for $240 and they came to my house two days after i called. if the crack doesn't obstruct your view too much, then it shouldn't be a problem. rain is more of an obstruction but they still let you run in the rain.

The crack is slightly above my eye level half way across window. I have autocrossed with it like that for 2 years. I don't even notice it while I am racing, but I am used to it. Car is not at my house, that is problem. Maybe I could get it done Saturday, but there is so much to do on car already.
