Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
The crack is slightly above my eye level half way across window. I have autocrossed with it like that for 2 years. I don't even notice it while I am racing, but I am used to it. Car is not at my house, that is problem. Maybe I could get it done Saturday, but there is so much to do on car already.
fyi, you should let the car sit for two days after a new windshield is installed to let the sealant dry completely before driving it. and they also have to order a special weather strip on the top which could take a day. so plan in ahead if you're going to have it done. then can come out to where your car is at and do it. it takes about an hour but you might have to be there to sign paper when it's done.
honestly, it's going to be hard to find a co-driver for trackday. it's not the same as autox, it's hard on equipment and chance of damaging a car is much higher. a mistake at 140mph could do a lot of damage, not just running over some cones. i personally wouldn't trust anyone with my car unless i've ridden with them at least two separate events and know that they don't drive past their limits. now if i had a beater, you can do what ever you want with it.
i stopped by HR on my way out of work today to ask if i needed to apply for FMLA beforehand in the event i am injured and can't work. when they asked why i was asking those questions i only had two answers for them:
because racecar
because racewars
because racecar
because racewars

43* and mostly Sunny for Sunday with a chance of hardparking at 90%. Today, tomorrow and Friday all at about 60*.
I heard there is a stanced 240sx that is going to dominate the hardparking event.
