Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
I don't really see how the spring clip pop off if the pins are still there. They were probably not installed to begin with.
I have always done my pad changes in my garage for years. My rear brakes have not been changed in 2 seasons. I have all the shim plates for every brake pad (Carbotech said not to use them with their XP12's). I do not understand how they could have popped out either, but they were not with all my parts I did not use. Plus how in the hell can you forget that piece if you take pads out, you have to see that clip.
TrackDaze at NJMP Lightning on June 23-24. Who's down for PCD Warm Tire Domination round 2?
Imma register soon. If you thinking about doing it, register soon cause they sell out quick.

no way those clips would just 'fall out'. Lets just say that one did, what are the chances they would BOTH fall off on you? I think you would have better odds of having that winning mega millions ticket.
get the AIB super special positive camber alignement.
lol.
Whatever, I did not forget to put them in. Maybe they popped out when I was beeding my brake pads in those pads. I have not looked at rear brakes in 2 years. Thats sad, but its been a while and could have popped out. I guess the question is has it ever happened to anyone else?

RTV sealant on the pins seems to hold them per this thread. BTW they lose pins, have not found a spring clip being lost only, yet.
