Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
Still trying. I havnt bumped my thread in awhile but I had a few serious buyers. I think mine is priced basically at the lowest I would take (which is really low IMO) and you still get lowballed. I'll put it to you this way, the demographic of people who want an Evo can't afford to pay you for what it's worth.
I paid 17k for my friends 9 mr with 76k. So your price seems reasonable give its mileage. Tim, youre going to have a harder time at 20k cause youre close to 80k and people assume that a new motor/drivetrain = ragged on.
you fools be smoking crack. i pulled my wheels off just to make a point. the pin is stainless, so obviously its not magnetic but the retaining clip is steel so it's magnetic. unless its made from some special secrete chinese sauce plastic that's magnetic developed for NASA space station.
if you have a loose pin, maybe the hole in the aluminum caliper is worn out, but i think there's a steel sleeve in the caliper so the aluminum doesn't wear out but i haven't look closely to confirm that.

Got it fool!
Ok Ok, the pin is stainless and the "collar" is some type of metal. My "metal collar" is all beat up. I am going to replace the pins just in case. The pins still go in there fine, but after losing both rear clips I figure it can't hurt to replace.

Best alignments in town biotch!
For realz, they are giving my car a once over and fixing a few things I cannot or don't know how. Nothing major hopefully, only one issue has me slightly worried. I may need to replace the valve seals, which would be gay.

i don't see how your pins could be beat up if you don't take the pads out much, for autox. i removed my pads at least 20 times last season from testing various pads and rotating pads, and i see no noticeable wear on the pin collar.
were the pins still in place when the rear pads clips were gone? i dont see how the clips would have came out with the pins still in place. i did notice the pad clips on chu's evo 8 was slightly different then my evo 9, the springs has less tension on the evo 8 clips.
