I am too cool for sponsors, that is why I want to remove the stickers when I'm not at an event.

RT/Tuning is sponsoring me in the EVO for the RTA AWD street class.

I don't DD the car but now that I have the bimmer for DE events the plan is to drive the car more on the street.

I sense sarcasm there, or maybe not. It hard to tell behind the keyboard.

I'm looking forward to getting the car prepped and get out on track soon.

After discussing with my Dad, brother, & friends I think it might be best for me to grab a 2011 or 2010 MR with all the same features I am looking for instead of buying a 2012. It will save me around 10k.

What are your thoughts on something like this 2010 MR?

**Please, no sarcastic remarks. I am looking for the best buy. I plan on making my purchase by this Saturday at the latest.**

None of us really have an X mr so I cant attest to it. If its a dd, id def get the mr over the gsr. The ratios on the gsr would drive me absolutely nuts

Yes, it will be a dd which is why I am sticking with the MR. I love the TC-SST; for dd use and bc I live in downtown Philly.

Yea I definitely would get the mr then. Whereabouts downtown? I used to be on broad and locust. Moving to center city west soon.

Sorry, but I think this X talk is out of your league. Lol!

The X SE and MR both have the SST trans. The main differences I believe are the shocks and brakes. If you are going to get coils, then it's probably not worth it to get the MR to change them out anyway.

The only thing that concerns me when buy a used X MR is the SST trans. I have no idea how to judge if it's in good shape or not. This is important as they are ridiculously expensive. I suggest you make sure you have a warranty to ensure it's not going bad off the lot, and not buying AS IS.

If it's a stock car, you probably have less to worry about. Again, I don't own an MR, so I would suggest talking to someone with experience with one.

SE and MR has same 2-piece rotors and shocks/springs.
