Autocross muscles getting flexed this morning. I should run street tire with my car one of these times to see how we all stack up. As soon as I get my new suspension on we will try it, next event. I think we may throw the Hoosiers on my car and see which car can run the better time. I am real curious, want to try before the Ohlins come off car.

I need your opinions on what to do with my car's hideous paint job. I think I hate my paint job more than the clown evo paint job car from Autocross last year. Anyhow here is a link to paint that my bodsy shop guy suggested. I like the Gunsmoke Metallic, what do you guys think? I would eventually get gloss black wheels again. I think it would look really cool but not obnoxious or something I would be embarrassed driving to work. Right now I am embarrassed.
Check out the paint and lets me know please:

Easy and cheaper to just redo the car in silver. Total color change can be costly. Just saying... I like Evos in white btw...

Why are you spending money on a paint job when you're just going to sell the car in a year or two? Just get all the gayness removed and bring the car back to stock. Simple, cheap and done!

Cost to just get it back to normal versus the matte paint is not that much more. I have to bring the car in to get that cost. My thought was that it may help the sale of car if it looked really cool.
The reason the matte is close in cost is the car only requires base coat, there is no cleared sprayed. The matte has a hardener in paint, it is also more resistant to chipping than regular paint and needs no wax ever. Just wash and go. It was just a thought to make the car real cool looking and also keep it where I am not embarrassed to drive to a client. Bad enough how loud the car is, just don't want to get laughed at like I do now.

I would bring it back to stock silver if it were me. As far a resale paint color is a hard topic because the color you may think looks good or cool someone else might not like it. Iirc they guy in the mult color evo bought it super cheap because of the paint. To get the car looking great again in silver should not be too much $

Confirmed!

Prepared and Modified cars still use the T designation (T-SM). Only the Stock classes use the RT.

Mike, my vote is to change it back to OE.
