if you're doing it on a budget I'd say prep it (aka remove lights and bumpers and mirrors) and have it resprayed by maaco for a cheap refresh good enough for sale.
mike, i agree with what Tim said. josh's friend john bought this evo that was painted green. at first i thought "oh cool color. you don't see that a lot." then after the initial wow was over, it looked like **** to me. as boring as silver is, i'd say trying to restore the car to it's original codition is probably the most appealing to a buyer.
