The paddle shifters are pretty cool for the street/DD and they are sure smooth on the track. I have 22K on the SE so far with NO trans issues,but I have already changed the trans fluid and the filter,( just for safety) which was not a bad idea after seeing an MR trans service with 30K on it and the filter was about to explode apart from all the clutch(s) worn off material. And be prepared for the cost of the service !!!! MPG (Pete)

That was on my fastest lap, the highest speed I saw recorded was 132.8 I think, not on a lap I posted.

you should have been going faster than 132 mph with your lap times. most of my laps top speed was close to 140 with one being 141 mph. and i have drag from all those wings on my car.

i'm trying to figure some video editing software so i can edit video with rear view camera with front camera, then i'll post my vids chasing that slow a$$ blue E36 around. i was alwaysinvac when i was chasing Marc.

looking at your last video, you were doing about 100 mph through the esses. i was doing about 110 mph through the esses. i guess all those aero does help, even though i was on bald street tires. i think with Rcomp tires, i can go flat through there without breaking at turn 2 entering the esses, and stay flat through the esses. maybe i'll bring my rcomp if i go up there and do EMRA TT in july.

 

My speedo was reaching 140, 132 on gps though. My car is faster in every gear, son, thats how I roll. Come at meh, bra!

Remember, I lift getting in where you claim to stay flat and run them in 5th, I shift to 5th at the top of turn 3 (basically the middle of the esses). Your bald street tires still probably still have more grip than my starspecs, and I'm sure all the aero helps keep the car planted.

there's no way my bald nt05 has more grip then your starspecs when they have less grip even when new, that excuse don't work son.

the aero definitely help with the high speed turns though, i felt a big difference when i drove his car and he has same suspensions.

i looked at my speedo a couple times and it was near 140 and by 10hz gps show the same. maybe your 1hz gps is not as accurate.

imma weld my wastegate shut so i don't have the turbo lag issues again. i'll just use the gas pedal to control the boost. done.

 

speedo is gonna be off but GPS doesn't lie... usually. I have a hard time believing yours says 140 when Pete was only a second or less slower than you were. Plus you have a splitter and wing to drag you down. Pretty sure his tom-tom kit is the 10hz external GPS version.

Some of the racers said their data showed 200+ before the bus stop. 203.8 was the highest I believe. That makes our 130-140 seem tame in comparison.
