speedo is gonna be off but GPS doesn't lie... usually. I have a hard time believing yours says 140 when Pete was only a second or less slower than you were. Plus you have a splitter and wing to drag you down. Pretty sure his tom-tom kit is the 10hz external GPS version.
Some of the racers said their data showed 200+ before the bus stop. 203.8 was the highest I believe. That makes our 130-140 seem tame in comparison.

Speedo's are know to be overzelous (sp? sorry, dan) when it comes to top speed. Been proven again and again over time in many car test. I'm sure my indidcated (almost) 140 is closer to 132-33mph.

Since we are showing vids. This is me driving my track car on Lightning, you can clearly see the run group even Thai @:48 giving me the point with hazards on and all.

his TomTom kit is only 1hz, he told me.
i have multiple laps where gsp showing close to 140 and one lap showing 141, i think i was drafting a porsche though.
like i said, i'm 10mph faster than him through the esses and that speed carry all the way to the bus stop. i could go faster through the esses on rcomp but the car doesn't accelerate much after 140, probably too much drag. did pete record his fastest lap, maybe the speed is higher in that lap. also remember that my fastest lap was till in traffic. i never had a clean lap the entire weekend.
i think the z06 were doing 160mph

you retard, he doesn't have an iphone. he has an ipod which doesn't have internal gps, hence he has to use TomTom kit. buy your bestie a 10hz gps son.

I posted my fastest lap, it had traffic (caught that slow a$$ supra at the end). My fastest lap though was not the highest top speed I recorded, I think I only hit 131 on fast lap. Top speed I recorded (different lap) was 132.8mph.
Stock Evo VIII turbo > Kingnegawa
I bet that Z06 was doing close to 165-170mph.
