Dan had a leaky tire also...

So was it the whole valve stem, of the "check ball" part that was loose?

The actual valve was backing itself out and had to be screwed back in.

It wasn't the whole valve stem, just the valve inside that came loose. Something as small as a valve stem tool can ruin your day if you don't have it

i have been looking for a valve stem tool for a while... for some reason the metal valve stems on my RPF1's like to back out. The rubber ones on my OEM wheels never did that. It first happened @ Lightning last year w/BMWCCA. Lucky for me a guy with a 2002 had the tool. Same thing happened this week as I was getting the car ready. Had to borrow Adam Fuhs tool to fix it.

You can get spare valve and the tool in a pack at walmart for less than $5. Get it done fool.

I think the metal valve stem doesn't absorb vibration as much as the rubber one, so the stem gets work loose. I also have sealed valve cap as back up in case I ever need it.

If im going to do a weekday event, would rather do it on Thursday Friday so I don't have to come back to work right after.

yeah, the thrusday-Friday PCA event looks good, but I'm trying to make it to summit that weekend and a 6-track day week in April isn't going to fly with the boss, lol.

Hum... I have a $50 credit with DelVal CCA. Not too crazy about a mon-tues event though.

No one commented on my idea of karting on the 12th. Bueller... Bueller...

Marc, Chau said he read something last night that all HPDE entries with BMWCCA in 2012 must be BMWCCA members...new rule. I'm not a member....womp womp.

As for the calendar, I have to clarify with the month of June before I post anything. GF and I usually go on vacation in June becasue our birthdays are within 2 weeks of each other. I was telling Dan last night about April 20, I'm surely doing. I looked into March 17/18, but its already waitlisted.
