Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
Look at you ready to hit the track again... Go ahead Boberto!
Summit Main is very fast from what I understand, never ran it though.
Karting Monday the 12th.
I have already noticed that RR is way more $ than Autocross. The supposedly value for your $ is not much more than autocross in my opinion. In fact RR probably just costs too much for alot of people.
$400 for 2 days, 4 hours of driving I assume 8 sessions or $35 for 5 runs 45 seconds long, but you are driving at 10 tenths the entire time where as RR 30 minutes there are spots where you are just cruising, like down a straight. Autocross you never stop during entire run, different game entirely. One enhances the other when it comes to skill sets.

do it up son. Summit main is decent course and they have gone through a lot of renovations. it's always good to do as many different tracks as you can to broaden your experience and develop your skills. you can request me as instructor if you want when you register.

as far as seat time per dollar, i think RR is a better value. you spend most of the day driving instead of standing around waiting or chasing down cones, and then only get 4 minutes of seat time. it's true that with autox, you drive 10 tenths from start to finish, but it's only for 60 seconds. i don't don't push hard on track for the entire session. for TT, i push hard with 110% focus for several laps to get a good time and then back off the let tires and brakes come back then go at it again. both requires different skill set. but autox does afford you the safety if you do screw up which is why i still enjoy autox. i can drive 10 tenths there and it also force me to look ahead and improve my reaction.
but if price is not an issue, im almost certain that most people would chose track over autox. i have yet to meet an autox junky who doesn't like track, but i've meet plenty track junky who have never done autox.

Yeah, I thought I saw it before... Should only be waitlisted for people who need an instructor. I'm surprised they closed registration all together.

I'm in the boat of autox junky that would like to track, but in the near term I've prioritized goals. Nationally competitive autoxer first. Since that alone costs too much money, track has the back seat. If I had unlimited funds, no doubt I'd be out there with you guys.
